The next morning, Elizabeth woke up a lot better than she was the previous day. She hated to admit it but the treatment Asher had given her yesterday helped her a lot. She couldn’t help but think about how gentle he was which was a far cry from how he behaved normally, reminding her that he was only following Eva's instructions.

“You’re awake” Asher said, walking out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his narrow waist while he uses another to towel his hair dry.

Elizabeth sat up despite the plans she had in mind to make him carry her to the bathroom. Thinking about it alone was enough to make her smile.

“Nothing” she said with a shrug before scooting towards the edge of the bed even further.

“It’s a good day, I will like to go out. I have been stuck in this room for days now” She quickly added.
