30~ Regrets

Vincenzo was finding it difficult to think. All that keeps moving in his mind is Freya and her health. The doctors were wasting time in the emergency ward and he was beginning to wonder if Freya's case was so severe.

He won't forgive himself if it is.

Suddenly, he is wondering why he is here in the first place. He was supposed to meet his underground assistant, he had even forgotten to give him a call that he won't be able to show up. But then, all these slipped off his mind because of the one very girl he once hated.

The same who had stolen his heart from the one he thought was his world. Pacing like a hopeless person didn't much bother him after all, he was much more concerned about the lady inside.

He would check on his wrist watch after every two minutes. Seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours, and yet not even a nurse had left the ward. The whole windows were covered with curtains, so it was very impossible for him to get a glimpse of what was going on in there.
