Freya sat on the three seater couch, slowly grinding on her popcorn while she watched the latest TV horror show, "Evil Dead Rise." She has heard of the movie so she decided to give it a try. While she was busily watching the movie, the door suddenly banged open. Fear gripped her heart, in a reflex action, the popcorn in her hands fell to the ground. She frowned thinking it was Olsen, her elder brother, since that was another trait of him whenever he returns home."What the fuck has gone over you, Olsen!" She yelled only to see a group of masked men walk into her home. One of them had a gun pointing at her. Freya was still and she remained quiet. "I will need you to remain silent, Miss Bred." He instructed Freya was lost in confusion as she couldn't comprehend what exactly was going on. She glared at the masked men, specifically at the one who had a gun pointed at her."Please. Please, I beg you, don't kill me." She pleaded."No one is hurting you, Miss Bred, not until I say so." A y
Freya jerked up from her sleep, glaring around the unknown environment. The room was so small and had a nasty smell, the rays of light shun through the thin window above her head. She rubbed her eyes to be sure she wasn't dreaming. She had thought the incident of last night was a dream, but her eyes were literally telling her that it wasn't. It was her reality. What's this place? She thought to herself. Why am I in a cell? She stepped out from the small bed she was laying on, rushing to the door. She banged on it several times, yelling on top of her voice. "Some body, help me! Some one! Any one!"She heard the sound of footsteps and she stopped yelling. "Please, where am I?" She asked the figure who was now standing at the other side of the door. "You're in a cell, Miss Bred." He said, sounding rude."Why am I in a cell? How did I get in here?""Were you expecting to wake up and see yourself laying on a king-sized bed? Well, you're remaining in here until your brother surrenders hims
(One Month Later…)It seemed like Olsen never cared about the safety of Freya any more, giving Vincenzo chances to keep hurting her the most. Olsen's hesitation to surrender himself had gotten Vincenzo to the point that each passing time he looked at Freya, he had a thousand reasons to make her suffer for the sake of her brother. He made sure she never left the cell until he said so. And even when she did leave the cell, he interrogated her with questions. What annoys him the more is the fact that he wasn't getting the answer he needed from her.Despite having such a heartless brother like Olsen, the only thing Freya couldn't do is to expose his hiding place to any one. She knew even if she had to tell Vincenzo, it wouldn't make her free from his nest. She has heard a lot about mafia's, they aren't the easy going type of people.Speaking out of experience, Olsen wasn't soft when it comes to revenge. He takes life like it didn't matter. He hunts life and slaughters humans like animals.
He had made them torture her every day. Despite being treated like a criminal, Freya has refused to spit Olsen's hideout to any one. An additional two weeks has successfully passed by, what's keeping Olsen from showing up? And what's actually delaying Vincenzo from having her dead already?Freya has prayed every blessed morning for death to take her unaware, but the more she kept praying, the more she saw herself breathing. Meanwhile, Vincenzo was about to leave when his secretary phoned him that there is a new organization in London but a discreet one. Vincenzo was interested in the information, he was busy with his tie but suddenly stopped to pay attention to his secretary."We've found the location, but I have sent some of our men over to London to get more information about the organization." Vincenzo was delighted at the report. They've been lots of new organizations trying to take over theirs. Some had sent spies who disguised themselves as new members into various mafia groups
Vincenzo's girlfriend had come to pay him a visit. He was grateful to see her. Her presence spoke so much for him, he would be able to get a clear mind for a couple of hours before his father shows up.He was thinking over Olsen, questioning himself why he was holding back at acting. For so many reasons he wished he knew, he had made threatening words yet didn't keep to any of it.And for so many reasons he wished he knew, he had given Olsen enough chances to live. What if Freya was right, what if Olsen never shows up? Would he live to let another man kill his sister?Though Vincenzo wasn't a man with good hearts, he felt it was wrong. And that calls for another suspicious question. Why all of a sudden would he feel it was wrong? But now his girlfriend, Kelly is here, every thing seemed to have gone. Her smooth touches were like miracles to his heart, melting the mountains of anger and hatred. He felt like he needed to be himself for a moment, to feel that part of him that obviously s
He went to the cell to check on her, she was crying and likewise sleeping at the same time. Her body shivered as she sniffled, but her subconscious wasn't anywhere present in the room as nature had taken her unaware. He was watching her, and he could hear her silent whimpers. He couldn't tell why he had come to the cell in the first place, why he was suddenly having a change of mind towards his father's decision. The way she had looked at him with those teary eyes made a part of him grow soft instantly and he just can't give an explanation to it. He was supposed not to mind whatever his father does to her, he wasn't supposed to bother how life would be for her after now.But some how, he wanted her to stay back, and for so many reasons he just can't explain why. He walked out of the cell, then he whispered some words to the guard before leaving for his room. Freya woke up by the sound of the door closing, she looked towards it but didn't see any one.But with his scent he had left beh
Freya walked into his room to start her first duty only to meet it empty. Vincenzo had left just a few minutes ago after a brief call from his underground guards. She stood for what seemed like minutes, analyzing the room to find any thing faulty and have it arranged properly, but the room was looking well kept like no one was staying in it. It's obviously clear that Vincenzo is actually a neat man.She turns back to leave the room, meeting Kelly at the door. "Good morning.." she greeted."Please, hold your greeting to yourself." Kelly blurts out. "What the fuck are you doing in here?""I came to arrange the master's room but it seems like there's nothing to work on. Maybe, I'll just come back some other time." She wasn't in the mood to exchange words, and looking at Kelly's face, she looks like one who loved unnecessary cases."So you feel you can just walk in here however you like because you're some kinda personal maid or what?"Freya didn't reply to her. She felt like she was onl
Freya was dressing Vincenzo's room when she heard the loud sound of shattered glasses. She flinched at the sound, turning to look at what had actually caused the noise. She was shocked to see Kelly standing beside the table, and before her is the shattered flower vase."Oh, no! That's the master's favorite vase." She exclaimed."And so? Come clean it up."Freya didn't mind how less concerned Kelly felt about her actions, she bent to get the glasses cleared up. Kelly walked out of the room with a loud sigh. While she was clearing the broken glasses with her hands, it scratched her thumb. She hissed painfully, stopping the rolling blood with her mouth. She used the long broom to clear the remaining glasses on the floor. She was contemplating on what to tell Vincenzo when he found out that his flower vase was no more. When he finally returned home, that was around minutes past eight. Some one came to call Freya while she was in the kitchen with the chef. Freya's heart skipped a beat. She
