Lucy’s POV

“She’s actually pregnant for me.”

Andy’s words slammed into me like a physical blow, stealing the air from my lungs. My hands trembled at my sides as I stared at him, trying to process what he’d just said. This couldn’t be real.

My Andy. The man who had always reassured me, held me close when the whispers about my inability to conceive grew too loud. The man who had promised me we’d face it all together. And now, here he was, standing in front of me, confessing to fathering another woman’s child.

“How can she be pregnant for you?” I asked, my voice trembling, barely concealing the fury rising up within me.

Andy didn’t answer my question immediately. He crossed his arms and looked away, as though he couldn’t bear to meet my gaze. His silence felt like a slap, confirming the truth I didn’t want to believe.

“Andy, answer me!” I shouted, taking a step toward him with huge anger already.

He sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair.

“What do you want me to say, Lucy?” he said, his tone laced with irritation and hate.

“It happened. What’s done is done and quite he changed.”

“‘It happened’? It happened?” My voice cracked as the tears threatened to spill up from my eyes.

“You told me we’d wait until I pregnant. You told me the moon would bless us one day, that you’d stand by me no matter how long it took for that to happen!”

“And how long am I supposed to wait until the moon bless us, Lucy?” Andy shot back, his voice rising up, with a more visible anger.

“Five years? Ten? Forever? Do you know how it feels to have the entire pack questioning my worth as the strongest Beta because my Luna can’t give me an heir?”

His words hit harder than I thought they would do. I felt my chest tighten as if his betrayal wasn’t painful enough. Now he was blaming me.

“So it’s my fault,” I whispered, my voice trembling already.

“You cheated because i failed to give you a child?”

Andy laughed bitterly, his expression cold.

“I didn’t cheat because of you, Lucy. I cheated because I have needs and wants. Needs you couldn’t fulfill, and want you couldn't offer.”

The room spun for a moment, my vision blurring with a mix of tears and disbelief.

“You promised me, Andy. You promised me you would wait, even if it took twenty years to huge you an hour,” I said, my voice breaking already.

“And how foolish of you to believe that,” he snapped, his lips curling into a harsh smirk.

I took a shaky step back, the weight of his words crushing the last bit of resolve I had.

“You’re not the man I thought you were the night I accepted you as a mate,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

“Believe what you want to, Lucy,” he said with a dismissive shrug. “The truth doesn’t change anything at all. She’s pregnant, and it’s my child and that's final."

I wiped my tears angrily, refusing to let him see me break down.

“What’s her name?” I asked, my tone colder now.

Andy hesitated for a moment before finally saying,

“Ash.”

“Nice name,” I said with a bitter smile. Then my expression hardened.

“What is she doing in my house?” I shouted, unable to contain my rage any longer.

“You’re just a frustrated fool,” Andy spat before turning and storming out of the room, leaving me standing there alone with the echoes of his betrayal and deep pain.

For a short moment, I just stood there, staring blankly at the door he’d slammed shut behind him. My hands shook as I clutched at the edge of the table for support. How could everything fall apart so quickly? How had I been so blind to what was happening right under my nose?

Then I heard it.

A faint voice from down the hall, soft and hushed, but unmistakably hers.

I moved toward the doorway, my heart pounding in my chest as I crept down the hall. The closer I got, the clearer her words became.

“No, listen to me,” Ash was saying, her voice urgent. “He thinks it’s his, and that’s all that matters.”

I froze, my breath catching in my throat.

“I told you,” she continued, her voice dropping lower. “I’ll handle it. Just don’t call me again unless it’s important.”

There was a pause, followed by a bitter laugh. “He’s too wrapped up in his own guilt to even suspect anything. He’ll do whatever I want as long as I keep playing the grateful and devoted act.”

I pressed my hand against my mouth to stifle the gasp threatening to escape. My heart raced as her words sank in.

The pregnancy wasn’t his.

Ash had played him, deceived him, and Andy, in his arrogance and desperation, had fallen for it.

The pain I felt moments ago began to transform into something else, something sharper. Fury.

I turned and walked back to the bedroom, my mind already racing with thoughts of what to do next. Andy had betrayed me, but now I had something he didn’t a truth that could tear his carefully crafted world apart.

This wasn’t over. Not by a long shot.

Lucy – POVThe night after confronting Ash, I didn't sleep. I couldn't just put things together.I sat by the open window of the little room, watching the moon cut across the sky, silver and distant. My hand rested gently on my stomach, the hope of fulfilling those words I told Andy, playing in my head. This child—my child—wasn't just a hope but my life. It would be a new beginning for me.And beginnings demanded bold steps.Which was why, just before dawn, I sent for Daniel. He arrived without a word, his expression unreadable as always. He stood in the doorway, arms crossed, dark eyes watching me closely."You're up early," he said quietly.I didn’t waste time. “I want to build my own faction. My own force. I’m not asking for your blessing or your go ahead. I’m asking if you're with me.”He blinked, then laughed once—dry, surprised. “That’s not what I was expecting though.”“Good,” I said, standing tall and firm. “I’m done being predictable.”He studied me for a long moment. “You’re

Lucy – POVThe wind tore through the clearing as I stepped into Ash’s territory—uninvited, unannounced, and completely unafraid.I’d had enough.Of the whispers.Of the pity.Of the poison she fed into the pack while smiling like a queen when she wasn't one.Ash thought I’d be broken after Andy discarded me and picked her. She thought I’d curl into nothing, vanish like smoke and dry up like the water poured to the ground. But instead, I’d burned. And now I was walking straight into her den with fire in my chest and nothing left to lose this time. She stood at the center of the training field, surrounded by her loyal pack sisters. Dressed in sleek black leathers, she looked like a warrior—deadly, composed, untouchable, evil. But her eyes flared the moment she saw me.Something within her screamed at my presence.“Well, look who the wind dragged in,” she called out, loud enough for everyone to hear. “I thought you'd disappeared for good, Lucy. Come to beg for your place back?”The girls

Lucy – POV"That's breaking the bro code," Daniel said, his voice low and laced with tension. "And besides… you're not even fully divorced."His words hit me harder than I expected. I clenched my jaw, trying not to show how deep they cut. But I couldn’t stop myself—I looked him straight in the eyes.Daniel.The man who’d stood by me more times than I could count. The one whose love was always visible, even when he tried to pretend otherwise. The one who looked at me like I was more than just my past, more than my title, more than the woman another man had thrown away. And yet here he was—resisting. Fighting not to fall into step with the path I needed him to walk.“Daniel,” I said slowly, deliberately, “I need to get pregnant. As soon as possible.”His body stiffened. For a second, he didn’t move. Then he took a step toward me, the air between us charged, heavy. Our breaths mingled—his warmth brushing against my lips. It would’ve been so easy to close the distance. But he exhaled and

Lucy – POVI couldn’t stop thinking about this pack—the way it looked, the memories it held. Every corner felt like it carried a piece of my past, haunting me.“Where are you going?” Daniel’s voice cut through my thoughts.I met his eyes, my mind spinning.I had already made my decision before today. I was going to see my ex-husband. Maybe to make him pay for everything he did to me.Or maybe…Maybe I’d make him beg for death—and deny him the mercy.“To my old home,” I said quietly. Before I could take another step, his hand wrapped around my wrist, holding me back.“What exactly are you planning to do?” he asked, his voice low but firm.I didn’t hesitate. I knew what I wanted. I wasn’t a child anymore—I could make my own choices. I had laid the groundwork for this moment, for my future.I pulled my wrist from his grasp and looked him in the eye.“You don’t get to control me, Daniel. I know what I’m doing.”I stepped away, brushing past him.“You better,” he said behind me. “Or you’ll

Daniel POVI stood with my arms crossed, eyeing Lucy with a mixture of skepticism and amusement. She was eager, I'd give her that. But eagerness didn't always translate to readiness from my own basic theory."Can we at least start the training already?" Lucy asked, her voice laced with a hint of impatience.I gave her the look. The look that said, "You're not ready." It was a look I'd perfected over the years, one that could convey a thousand words without saying a single one.Lucy immediately understood the look. Her eyes dropped, and her shoulders slumped ever so slightly. Within minutes, her entire character had changed. The confident, Luna I'd once known was replaced by a hesitant, uncertain individual, who was very eager to play her revenge as soon as possible."Daniel..." she trailed off, her voice barely above a whisper.I raised an eyebrow, my expression still same "I know you're once the great Luna of this pack, but that doesn't mean anything in this situation," I said, my to

Strong. Dangerous. Power radiated from him.Alpha Daniel. His voice was ice like that of the night water. “You’ve entered my land, rogue.”I swallowed hard as the words escaped my mouth. “I— I’m not a rogue.”He tilted his head. “Then why do you smell like one?”I glanced around. And this time I could feel there eyes on my self.Mira sat beside me, her face bruised and pale, but her spirit unbroken. Ivy and Daniel were locked up in the same cell, but just too far for me to talk to them, but close enough for me to hear Daniel’s frustrated growls.I turned to Mira, whispering, “You said there’s a way out?”She nodded slightly. “A hidden tunnel. It leads outside, but… it’s risky.”A loud clang made me jump. The cell door swung open. Ethan stepped inside of the cell, with a Stern and serious look. His face was blank, his posture stiff. He shut the door behind him, stepping closer.“You need to be ready,” he muttered lowly, as he took few slow steps.Mira tensed at those words. “Ready for what exactly...huh?”Ethan’s eyes flickered with something unreadable. “Ash is moving you all soon.
