Chapter 20"Brandon! Brandon get up!?" Ezekiel shouted at him, but Brandon didn't respond. He didn't move or moan. Jacob had struck him out cold.Shock, pain and surprise had kept Ezekiel mostly silent as Brandon and Jacob had played out their intense drama. Chapter 17To give himself to the beast was easy and hard all at once. The creature was motivated by blood and violence and the hunt. Chapter 16Ezekiel pumped all of his energy into his lungs and legs. Even so, he had barely made it a few yards before the sounds of pursuit were gaining on his heels.
