Uncertain about what to do, her mind wandered around deep in thoughts. She had been quiet ever since and Hazel had to snap her fingers repeated before she realized how far she had gone.

“ Girl, you been lost in thoughts. You didn't even hear the last thing I said or did you?” Hazel asked with a hand on her shoulder protectively.

When is he coming to see you?” Hazel asked with her eyes off the road for a second as she threw a glance at Caryn who seemed like she had a lot on her plate. Of course she did, her family's company was one step away from crumbling and even though his dad had been able to get a loan, it wouldn't last long. They needed to find a solution and quite fast too.
