AVYANNA'S POV

"Uncle Alejandro, you called me?" I asked as I followed Nathaniel to the council’s meeting room.

Seeing that it was only the head council members and Evander was nowhere in sight, I sighed before looking at them with my normal nonchalant stare.

"Sit down, Avyanna. You guys may leave. You too, Nathaniel. I want to talk to her alone," Uncle Alejandro said, and everyone started to leave the room while I sat on the rotating chair.

"What is it, Uncle Alejandro?" I asked, and he sat beside me rather than on his head chair before stopping my chair from moving.

"How is your wolf doing?" He directly asked me, and I squinted my brows.

"I don’t understand what you are talking about. Almost everyone who knows me properly believes I am a lantern. Why is it that you are still so persistent about me having a wolf?" I asked.

I don't know why but for some reason, his attitude towards me has always been like this.
