“Care to tell what you guys were doing out of the school at this hour? That to be without taking permission from anyone?” Evander asked me, his dark gaze looking between Christian and me, and knowing that it might be giving a wrong impression, I sighed before taking his hand in mind.

“Can I explain it to you alone?” I asked him, and he gave Christian one last look before nodding.

“Do you have any idea how worried I got when I couldn’t find you in school? It’s a good thing I didn’t ask any teacher, or do you have any idea how big of trouble you could’ve got yourself in? Avyanna, my love, though we are supernaturals and everything, we still need to abide by the rules to complete our education,” Evander said, and I know I should be feeling sorry for my actions, but rather than that, I was swooning over the way he called me, my love.
