AVYANNA’S POV

“Avyanna, my dad will be coming soon,” Cassandra said, and I nodded my head as I looked around.

The large fountains in the middle of the ground were especially enchanting.

‘I feel like playing with water,’ Cybele suddenly said, and I sighed at her statement.

‘Don’t act rashly, okay? We will play later. Also, Cassandra’s father is the demon king, and I hope I don’t need to tell you not to do anything that will give us away, right?’ I reminded her, and she snickered, saying nothing, nonetheless.

“Okay, I just received a message from my dad. He is calling us to the throne room,” Cassandra suddenly said, bringing me out of my thoughts, and I nodded before following her.

“Are you nervous?” Cassandra asked me, and I shrugged.

“I don’t see why I should be nervous. I am not a guy asking for your hand in marriage,” I said, and she chuckled before shaking her head.

“You have a good sense of humor. My dad is going to like you,” Cassandra said as she turned around th
