Lily leaned her elbow against the reception counter and let out a sigh. Encounters with non-human creatures were kind of hit or miss. It was like they were twenty different people, and she never knew which one she’d get. Today she’d gotten professional Rhye. Not the husband Rhye or the flirty alpha, but the leader of his pack. Lily swiped a doughnut from the box on the counter. Being professional sucked. She much preferred making-out-in-the-library Rhye.
