Zane’s hands were tucked into his pockets as he stood at the foot of the bed. His expression was calm, serene, even. If someone walked in now, they’d never guess the man before them was watching his half-brother come apart from a drug laced with biogenetic fire.

Or that he had done absolutely nothing to stop it.

Asher kept writhing in the sheets like a pathetic animal, soaked in so much sweat, he was glistening. His cock pulsed against his abs, flushed and leaking like a broken faucet, but it was the sound of him that Zane drank in with reverence. Those bitten-back whimpers and the helpless crack of his voice when he said Zane’s name.

“Zane…”

A whispered plea. It was beautiful.
