Elena sighed and stared out of the window as she was locked in a room which looked expensive. She never thought that after getting kidnapped she would be in a luxurious room like this, but she cared less about it.She just wanted to meet their cabo and her kidnapper. She was getting angry at the thought of it.She clenched, her fist ready to punch her kidnaper who wasn't even present there. Its been one hour and still her kidnaper didn't let her known about his existence.

Lorenzo blind folded her on the way and then locked her in a room.Since then she was sitting there being frustrated and angry. As god just listened to her prayer and the door opened catching her attention at whoever it was.Elena frowned a little when she witnessed her kidnapper.Who was none other than Vincenzo Romano himself. He smirked at her and walk to where she was standing now while she was throwing daggers at him with her ocean blue eyes which was amusing him.

"I didn't expect you to be here, Miss Elena."

He said, being amused.Elena scoffed at his words in disbelief.Thinking this man had the guts to say that.

"And do you think I expected you to kidnap me out of nowhere, Mr.Romano?"

Elena said while crossing her arms across her chest with a challenging gaze.

"So arrogant, sweetheart."

Vincenzo said while rubbing his temples with his gun which he was holding the whole time.

"Now what do you want from me?Why did you bring me here?Give me a goddamned reason."

His face turned serious after hearing her words.

"I have my own reasons, sweetheart."

He placed his gun on the side table and cracked his neck, making a crepitus sound.

"I don't know what your problem is, but would you mind telling me the damned reason?"

Elena asked, being annoyed. He turned towards her and smirked but soon a little gasp slipped through her mouth when he suddenly pinned her against the wall, making her shocked.

"Don't you think you're using your pretty little mouth too much, Elena Martin?"

Vincenzo stated in a serious tone. Both his palms were placed beside her head while he slowly pushed his body against her, closing the distance between them.Elena narrowed her eyebrows when she heard her full name from him.She was about to open her, but quickly shut it when he closed the remaining distance between them. She felt his warm heat against her body which was now making her breathlesss.

"I don't like this attitude of yours.Do you even know whom your talking to right now?"

His hot breathing was fanning her face, making her nervous. His intimidating gaze was fixed on her which was making her heart to beat rapidly against her chest while her eyes were locked with his.As she managed to speak.

"I-I don't know who you are.Get away from me." Elena mentally slapped herself for sluttering in front of him.She placed her hands on his muscular chest in an attempt to push him, as they were dangerously, closed to each other. His whole body was pressed against her.The temperature in the room was increasing because of their sexual tension. They were so closed to each other that their hot breathing were mixing with each other sending heat to both of their body but he didn't even move an inch.

"Do you think you can push me away with these pretty little soft hands of yours?"

He smirked while she gulped.

"Just...let me go." She tried to avoid his eyes.

"What if I don't wanna let go of you?"

A shiver ran through her spine when she heard him say that.He grabbed her chin, making her look him in the eyes.Vincenzo didn't know what was happening to him. Those tense, trembling lips, weak pushes and her sweet scent were making him go crazy.Everyone shivers in fear whenever they were standing infront of him but she wasn't scared at all which made him attracted towards her even more. His beast inside was screaming at him to fuck her until he rip her apart and get over the attraction.

"You are crossing your limits, don't you think, Mr.Romano?"

He only chuckled at her.

"Those harsh words of yours just turned me on, sweetheart.Trust me babygirl, you're lucky enough that I haven't fucked you yet since I had to deal with your father."

She looked away, feeling her cheeks heating up at his dangerous threat. She was thinking about why he was doing all of this and what business he had with her stepfather? What' with this man?

"I don't have a father now. Get away from me!" Elena harshly pushed him away with all her strength this time while he stared at her, being confused at her father's denial. She was about to go towards the door but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him, making her bump against his broad chest.

"You are really something else, huh?Where do you think you're going? And what do you mean by that you don't have a father?Who's James Martin then?"

He asked but she only struggled to get away from him.She was trying to free herself but his grip only tightened every time she tried. It was useless. She let out a sigh and looked at him frustrated.

"Mr.James Martin is not my father. I hate him, that's all."

Vincenzo frowned his eyebrows together. He was about to say something but suddenly a knock interrupted them.He loosened his grip on her and she quickly moved away from him, making him raise his one eyebrow.A guard entered the room when Vincenzo granted him permission.

"Capo we brought him. He's already in the basement."

A small smirk appeared on Vincenzo's lips.He left the room while Elena sighed frustratingly, thinking only god knows what he really wants from her.She didn't know that helping a mafia would lead to something like this, but only if she knew. She looked around the room, examining it and thinking if she could get out of it bu then her gaze shifted to where a camera was located on the corner of the room. She scrunched her eyebrows thinking that they were recorded.

Author’s POV'Six years laterThe Romano mansion breathed celebration.Blue balloons floated lazily across the living room ceiling, their ribbons swaying as servants moved around making last-minute arrangements. Laughter echoed from the garden, where colorful play stations had been set up for children—mini slides, games, and a small carousel. Every detail was perfect. Exactly how Elena wanted it.And yet, irritation simmered beneath her calm exterior. Her phone buzzed again. She exhaled sharply, already knowing who it was.“Unbelievable,” she muttered, striding toward the bedroom with one hand planted firmly on her hip.The door swung open just as a familiar voice called out—“Elena—”She stopped in the doorway, arching a brow.“Finally. Got some free time for me?”Vincenzo asked, his voice smooth, his expression as darkly composed as ever.Elena let out a dramatic huff.“Free time? Really, Vincenzo?”He turned toward her, impeccably dressed except for the tie hanging loose around his

  • Taming Mr.Mafia King   Epilogue!

It took everything in me to convince him.Even now, standing at the entrance of our mansion, I wondered if I had made a mistake.I drew in a shaky breath, my chest tightening as I took in the sight before me. Vincenzo’s men lined one side, Levi’s men the other—guns visible, faces cold, tension thick enough to choke on. The mansion that once felt like home now felt like a battlefield waiting for blood. My pulse spiked.Suddenly, the memories crashed into me—the gunshot, the pain, the darkness swallowing me whole.No. Don’t go there, I told myself desperately.Vincenzo’s grip around my hand tightened, grounding and possessive, like he was anchoring me to this world. His fingers were almost painful now, as if letting go meant losing me forever. Not now.Not ever.I glanced at him and saw it—the barely restrained rage burning in his eyes. My husband looked like a man standing on the edge of slaughter, ready to kill anyone who even thought of taking me away from him.“Finally,” Levi’s voic

"You are the best thing that has ever happened in my life."The moment those words left Vincenzo’s lips, something inside my chest shattered and healed all at once."But I didn't get you any gifts."My face dropped."You are the best gift already. You are enough, sweetheart."“I’m so lucky to have you as mine,” he continued, his voice low, sincere—dangerously honest. “Thank you, love, for coming into my life like an angel and filling it with happiness. Even after everything I put you through… every wrong I did to you.”His thumb brushed over my knuckles as if grounding himself.“I promise,” he said firmly, “I will never let your smile fade again. I’ll give you every happiness this world has to offer. I’ll hold you like this and love you until my last breath.”My heart was no longer beating normally.“I love you, Annie,” he whispered. “More than you could ever imagine.”Tears burned my eyes as he tightened his hold on my hand, as if afraid the world might take me away if he loosened hi

  • Taming Mr.Mafia King   Consuming!

“Vincenzo,” I called his name, with a hint of anger lacing my tone. I could finally speak. I was so glad to have my voice back that I nearly cried. The first words which I let him hear were.... I love you Vinni. He was head over heel to hear it again and made me repeat the whole week.I didn't tell him that they weren't my first words after my recovery, and I was actually practicing it, but he doesn't have to know that it was my surprise.A low chuckle answered me instead. It had been weeks since I was discharged from the hospital, weeks since he brought me back to the mansion and quietly turned my recovery into his religion. He didn’t let me lift a finger—not a glass of water, not a book, not even my own blanket. If I moved, he would be already there. If I wanted something, he anticipated it before I could even think of asking. At first, I argued. Now, I let him.He fed me when I was tired, carried me when my legs ached, kissed my scars like they were sacred symbols etched into my sk

  • Taming Mr.Mafia King   Dangerously honest!

Elena POV'It’s been two weeks since I woke up.Two weeks since, the darkness loosened its grip on me and allowed light back in—harsh, blinding, real. The first two days were a blur of white ceilings, muted voices, and pain humming through my bones like a warning. It took time for my mind to catch up with my body, to understand that I wasn’t dead… just suspended between what I was and what I had become. The doctor said my body was weak. Healing. Fragile. And then came the worst part.I couldn’t speak. No matter how hard I tried, my throat refused to cooperate, my voice trapped somewhere deep inside me. The doctor said it was normal. That coma patients often take days… weeks… sometimes months to speak again. He said it was a miracle that I woke up to which he received a deadly glare from Vincenzo. I bet he had threatened the old man.I hated that word—months.Because silence made me powerless. And because my husband never left my side.Vincenzo was around me. Always. Like a shadow stit

  • Taming Mr.Mafia King   Fragile hope!

Night came for him the same way it always did—slow, merciless, and heavy with her absence.Eight and a half months had passed since the bullet tore through Elena and ripped the color out of his world. The doctors called it a coma, a word too clean for what it really was. To Vincenzo, it was a suspended death. A punishment. A waiting room where time mocked him by moving forward while she remained still.By day, he had turned into something colder than before. The city whispered about it. The men under him feared it. Vincenzo spoke only when necessary, each word clipped, surgical, as if language itself was a weakness he could no longer afford. His eyes no longer burned with fire—they were glaciers now. Unfeeling. Untouchable. Anyone who mistook that silence for mercy never made the mistake twice. But night stripped him bare. When the mansion went quiet and the walls stopped pretending she was still there, Vincenzo returned to the bedroom they once shared. Her side of the bed remained un
