**Zara/Reika**

I told myself a thousand times as my eyes remained locked on him that I wouldn’t tremble, wouldn’t stutter.

Yet, as I pressed myself against him, half naked, the cool breeze kissing my back, my body decided betrayal was its new hobby.

My knees shook, my palms sweated, and my heart was doing that stupid gallop that announced you’re about to do something very, very stupid.

Oh well, anything to make sure I completed my mission.

I didn’t let it show. I pasted on a mask that screamed fearless seductress even though every part of me screamed to run away.

Stephan’s palm was curled into tight fists, dark eyes sharp and wary, they brushed through my exposed breasts, setting my skin on fire.
