Awake; the Vampires Cabin

Leanda slowly blinked her eyes open, squinting as a drop of rain landed on her cheek. For a moment, she lay there in confusion, her mind struggling to grasp the situation she found herself in. Then, as the rain intensified and the drops began to fall more heavily, memories flooded back to her.

Ian and Bree. The Cell. The deep forest. Being thrown to the ground. That was all she could remember before her memory went blank again.

With a groan, Leanda tried to push herself up, but her head throbbed painfully and her limbs felt heavy and uncooperative. She lay there for a few more moments, letting the rain wash over her, before finally mustering the strength to sit up.

As she did so, she realized that she was in a small clearing, surrounded by trees and shrubs. She looked around and it seemed like she was deep into the forest already.
