Chapter 3.

Darcy's POV.

Luckily for us, workers were allowed to park their car at the backside of the hotel which made it easy for us to drag the stranger whose face, we couldn’t recognize into the back seat of the vehicle as we zoomed off, not wasting time.

“Hell no! We can’t take him to the hospital unless we will end up getting into trouble.” I had refused Naomi’s advice as i drove straight to my apartment where I had the man treated.

I had called an old friend of my mother as she sent me and Naomi out as she carried on with the treatment.

“Are you sure about this, Darcy??” Naomi asked as she stared at me with so much fear in her eyes. “What if he doesn’t make it out alive?? How then are we going to get rid of his body??” She groaned as she crashed down on the sofa chair.

“He will be fine. But there is a little problem.” The doctor said as she stepped out from my room. “He was shot twice, luckily for him, none touched his heart but the thing is, they were both silver bullets!!” She furrowed her eyebrows as she stared at me sternly.

“Huh?? Silver bullets??”Naomi popped up as she looked at me.

“He is a werewolf and from what I came to notice, he is a very powerful werewolf and at that, could stand as a threat to you in particular, Darcy.” She mumbled.

“Who do you think he is?? An…”

“He’s an Alpha and a deadly one at that. When he groaned in pain, I saw his eyes, they were extremely red like a blood moon. You have to dispose him before he wakes up.” She advised as she picked up her briefcase and she left us alone.

“I warned you, Darcy. Now, how are we going to dispose his body before he wakes up??” She groaned the more as she paced about, completely confused.

“Can you just stop being too scared? It’s already enough for me to handle for a day, first was that simp, Allison and now, a complete stranger who I helped from dying and now he poses a threat to my entire life. God, what’s happening??” I sobbed as I crashed down on the sofa chair.

“I told you, he wasn’t any of our business but no, you went on to help him.”

“Can you just stop talking, Naomi and let me think?? Let me just think this through before he wakes up. If he happens to wakes up before we come up with a good plan to dispose him, then we should be saying farewell to this life.” I groaned as I lowered my head, placing both hands on my head.

“We can just put him back how we brought him here and drive him to a lonely street and dump his body there.” Naomi muttered as she stood up again and she paced about aimlessly again as I could hear her heavy breathing.

“Are you sure about that??” I asked her as I picked up the idea.

It was going to be a completely bad idea if we were to drive him back to the hotel. There were two things involved and that was, either we get stopped by the cops or he wakes up in the long drive.

We had tiptoed into my room as we saw the man lying on the bed. His face was bandaged as well as his stomach where he was shot and as we approached him, the more my heart raced really fast.

“Damn!!” Naomi had mumbled as she got closer to the stranger. “He has a strong perfume and how could a man has such scary tattoos all over his body, huh??” She asked, turning to my direction as she slowly squatted to touch his body.

I stood still as I admired how muscular he was, his cupped chest, abs and well trained biceps.

“Damn it!! I never knew he was this hot!!” She blushed as she rubbed his chest.

He had the tattoo of skulls, like a cemetery on his body and a cross tattoo that had a snake wrapped around it with its tongue out.

“Okay, enough of all these adoration. Do you remember we have to dispose him before he wakes up??” I snapped her out of whatever imaginations she was currently harbouring.

I had tied two of my thick duvets together as we dropped him on it and we both pulled the duvet with so much force as we dragged him out of my apartment and we supported him into the back seat of the vehicle. I had given him my favourite bathrobe as it was a cold night.

All my other bathrobe were all messy and I couldn’t wear him any of them.

“I hope you get alright soon.” I mumbled as drove off to the closest lonely street which was a bit far from my apartment. At least, that means we were safe and this was going to be the last night I get to see him. I exhaled sharply as I dropped his blood stained shirt and coat right beside him.

His eyes hitched as he laid on the ground. There was no better place to drop him than by the side of an abandoned truck.

“You will be alright, Mr. Stranger!!” I muttered as I covered him with the duvet.

“Come on, we have to leave now!!” Naomi called from behind as I returned back to the car.

It was a long, noisy drive back to my apartment as Naomi kept on playing some loud songs. I kept staring at her as I couldn’t believe how she could have mastered all the lyrics to every songs.

I still had many questions running through my mind about that stranger and I couldn’t just hold it back to myself any longer as I turned to look at Naomi.

“But who do you think the stranger is?? And why is he a threat to me??”
