Snow's POV.

My racing heart calmed down immediately as I opened my eyes and I calmed down immediately as I saw Peter.

“Oh my God, you got me scared for real.”

I groaned as I looked at him, breathing really fast.

He killed the snake as he threw it to the ground at the front of the royal house.

“The cleaners will put it in the trash can once they see it.”

He said in a soft voice as he looked at me.

“And what frightened you that much? I can say it was not just because of that snake.”

He snapped as I tried looking away.

“What's wrong, Snowy?”

“Who are you hiding from?”

He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at me sternly.

I shrugged slightly as I looked away.

“You know you can confide in me, right?”

He continued as he held my face, turning my face to his as he looked at my eyes.

“You feel guilty because of everything happening to Jace Steele right now? Huh?”

He asked.

“It's all my fault.”

I groaned.

“If I hadn't planned on escaping he wouldn't have gotten poisoned. It's all my fault.”
