The banquet was going well, the guests were chatting and a series of discussions were held. The king found Diana to be a simple and naive girl and had other plans in mind for her, upon knowing what the latter's father wants.
"So tell me about yourself, young maiden." The king said facing Diana.
She was shocked that the king's question was directed at her and she almost choked. Her father continued pinching her thigh from under the table for her to maintain and not embarrass him. Diana did as she was instructed by her father, and her face brightened up with a smile.
"I'm Diana, a fashion designer in my vicinity." She spoke with so much confidence.
The crown prince was overwhelmed and at the same time displeased. She doesn't fit his standards.
"You're a fashion designer huh?" The king asked, he was interested in this young maiden.
"Yes, I am." She nodded.
"I'm going to promote your business. You'll get to make good clothes for me; the king and other dignitaries." The king smiled gulping his wine.
Diana's father was more than overwhelmed. He was so happy that his daughter's business would move to the highest level as his eldest daughter was just an idle person.
The young maiden's heart was filled with joy. She couldn't wait to break the good news to her lover.
Her father appreciated the King for his effort if only the king would do as he said. "Your Majesty, I know everything comes with a price so please state it."
Diana's jaws dropped. Was the King going to ask for something in return? This was something that she didn't expect.
The old King on the other hand smirked. Yes, nothing good comes without a prince if only they would be willing to pay the price.
"I know your youngest daughter just clicked eighteen and is ready for marriage." The King confirmed, clasping his hand as if going to state a serious business.
"Yes, Your Majesty." Mr. Wilson said with a smile. He thought the King was getting to know the reason he brought his daughter to the Royal banquet.
The King turned to Diana with a smile settling on his face.
"As the rule states, your father would be the one to choose a suitor for you." He then turned to her father. "What suitor do you have in mind for your daughter?"
With this question thrown to him, Mr. Wilson was glad. He cleared his throat to speak. He stared closely at the princes, his daughter, and the King. "Your Majesty, I want my daughter to marry into the Royal family." He said without hesitation.
The crown prince laughed. This was hilarious to him. "How can a common fashion designer marry into the Royal family?" He asked with a hint of mockery in his voice before sipping his wine.
Diana's face went sour.
A common fashion designer! Who would want to marry someone like the crown prince? If only the person was a golddigger and she wasn't, she felt like giving the crown prince a piece of her mind that he'll regret ever downgrading her. Wasn't he the one that asked her for a dance? Such a two-face brat! Diana sneered.
"You need to mind your words brother, she can if possible." The second prince was the one to speak.
He had a gentle aura which Diana loved, unlike the crown prince who was a bully.
It was about time for the king to speak and their eyes were on him. Only the last prince kept eating as if none of it was his concern.
"Sir Wilson, it's possible for your daughter to get married into the Royal family." The King assured.
Mr. Wilson's heart was blessed. He was so excited to the extent that he almost embraced his daughter but he had to maintain proper poise.
The King wasn't done with his words so he continued. "But, my two sons are betrothed to someone else already."
"Which of your sons are you talking about?" Mr. Wilson asked in a dilemma. His happiness has been crushed down by the king's words.
He wanted his daughter to get married to the crown prince so that she can be the future queen of their prestigious Kingdom but it turned out that it wasn't going to work as he had planned.
"My first and second sons." The King confirmed.
The last son was still quiet until when he was done with his meal, his head remained bowed and he didn't move an inch.
"Your Majesty, is the last prince, not your son?" Diana was forced to ask.
The king kept on referring to the crown prince and the second prince as his own but didn't make mention the last prince, which was absurd.
"He's a prodigal son. No one wants him because of his predicament, blind and cursed." The king sneered, he was disgusted and hates referring to the last prince as his son.
Diana wasn't happy with the way the king spoke about his son, his flesh and blood. If the last prince is said to be cursed and blind as the king had just mentioned then the rumors surrounding him are true.
"Sir Wilson, I know you won't be that heartless to marry your daughter off to the last prince." The crown prince blurted. He was so annoying and Diana wished he would shut his mouth.
To her surprise, her father shook his head.
The King came to understand everything that was happening. No one wanted to have anything to do with his last son even though he gave them all the richest in the world. So he decided to try the same thing with Diana and her father.
"You see... I'm going to establish your business if only you marry my last son as that would be the price."
The king's words were heavy and they were all surprised. The last prince himself was in awe but didn't raise his head.
Mr. Wilson gave it a second thought before agreeing to marry his daughter off to the blind prince because of greed but Diana was against it.
She can't just get married to the man she didn't love when she had a lover. This was against her wish. Diana protested but no one listened to her opinion.
The young maiden gazed at the last prince and much to her surprise he raised his head and gazed back at her with his pure white eyes that sent shivers down her spine.
As Diana settled into the carriage, she couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. She had been enjoying their time at the castle and didn't want it to end so soon. She turned to Damon, who was sitting next to her, and asked, "Why didn't you tell me we were leaving today?"Damon remained silent, which only added to Diana's frustration. She turned her attention to Sir Galahad and Sir Richard, who were sitting across from them. "How long will the journey take?" she asked.Sir Richard cleared his throat before replying, "It should take us about two days to reach the palace, my lady."Diana let out a sigh and leaned back against her seat. She gazed out the window at the passing countryside, which was filled with lush green fields and tall trees. "It's a shame we have to leave this beautiful place," she said wistfully.Sir Galahad nodded in agreement. "Indeed, it is. But duty calls, and we must answer."As they continued their journey, the environment around them changed. The lush g
Under the light of the full moon, a group of werewolves gathered in the forest. They were all pale-skinned, their eyes glowing in the darkness as they waited for their leader, Chaos, to arrive. As Chaos emerged from the shadows, the werewolves fell silent. He was a towering figure, with jet-black fur and piercing yellow eyes. He looked around at his followers, his expression cold and unreadable."Chaos, we were curious about the woman in the prophecy," one of the werewolves spoke up. "The celestial spirit told us that you need to be redeemed. Is it true that you have feelings for her?"Chaos snarled, his teeth bared. "That is none of your concern. The prophecy is just a means to an end. Our goal is to take revenge against the humans and gain dominion over the world."The werewolves murmured in agreement, but one of them spoke up. "But Chaos, if you are redeemed, won't that mean that we won't be able to achieve our goal? We need you to be coldhearted and ruthless."Chaos glared at the
Diana had been enjoying her stay at the lonely castle for the past few days. She had been exploring every nook and cranny of the castle, admiring the beautiful paintings and sculptures that adorned the walls and floors. She had also been spending a lot of time in the gardens, which were filled with colorful flowers and exotic plants. However, she had noticed that Damon had not been enjoying his stay as much as she had. Whenever Diana tried to make conversation with him, he would ignore her or give her short, monosyllabic answers. One day, after several failed attempts to engage Damon in a conversation, Diana finally managed to get him to talk to her. "So, Damon, what do you think of the costume party that's happening next week?" she asked, trying to sound casual.Damon sighed and looked up from his book. "I don't really care about the party, Diana," he replied, his voice flat.Diana was taken aback by his response. "But it's going to be so much fun! I've already made a costume for the
Damon felt the warmth of Diana's arms around him as he slowly opened his eyes. The room was dark, with only the soft glow of the moonlight filtering in through the curtains. As he gently slid out of bed, he could feel Diana's body stirring slightly, but he knew he had to leave. He carefully lifted Diana, cradling her in his arms, and carried her to her own bed. He gently laid her down, tucking her in and placing a soft kiss on her forehead before turning to leave. As he made his way to the window, he could feel the restlessness building within him. He had never slept before, his blindness making it impossible for him to fully rest. Instead, he had other duties to attend to at midnight. With a deep breath, Damon raised the window and leaped out into the cool night air. As soon as his feet hit the ground, his body began to shift and contort. Bones cracked and muscles stretched as he transformed into a magnificent wolf. The transformation was always exhilarating, and Damon relished the f
Prince Damon lay in his bed, the darkness of the room enveloping him. He heard footsteps approaching and a soft rustling as Diana, his new companion, settled into her own bed on the other side of the room."Goodnight, Prince Damon," Diana said softly."Goodnight, Diana," Damon replied, his voice cool and distant. There was a moment of silence before Diana spoke again. "I know this is an unusual arrangement, but I hope we can both make the best of it."Damon sighed. "Yes, it is certainly unusual. But I suppose we must make the best of it, as you say."Diana shifted in her bed. "Is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable, Your Highness?"Damon frowned. "I am blind, Diana. I do not require comfort."Diana's voice was gentle. "I understand that, but I still want to make sure you are not feeling uneasy in any way."Damon was silent for a moment before he spoke again. "Very well, if it will make you feel better, you may light a candle."Diana lit a candle on the nightstand betw
Damon and Diana rode in silence as they approached the castle. The journey had been long and exhausting, and Diana was feeling uneasy. She had heard rumors about the blind prince Damon, and his reputation for being cold and unapproachable made her nervous. As they arrived at the castle, the knights who had escorted them – Sir Richard and Sir Galahad – bid them farewell and rode off into the distance.Damon and Diana dismounted their horses and made their way into the castle. It was dark and drafty, and Diana shivered as they walked down the long, winding corridors. Finally, they came to a stop in front of a large wooden door. Damon pushed it open, and a musty smell wafted out."This will be our bedroom," he said, gesturing inside.Diana peered in, her eyes widening in shock. "This is...our bedroom?" she asked incredulously. The room was sparse and unfurnished, with just a single bed in the center. The walls were bare, and the windows were covered in thick curtains that blocked out al
Prince Raymond sat at the head of the table, his father, the old king, to his right. The large, ornate courtroom was filled with advisors and important figures from around the kingdom. The topic at hand was the recent attacks by a werewolf that had been terrorizing the kingdom, targeting young women and brutally murdering them."I propose that we increase the number of guards in the affected areas, Your Highness," said one of the advisors, a grizzled old man with a thick beard. "We need to ensure the safety of our citizens.""Agreed," said Raymond, nodding his head. "We will also offer a reward for any information leading to the capture of the werewolf. We need to bring an end to this before any more innocent lives are lost."The others around the table murmured their agreement, but Raymond couldn't help but notice that his younger brother, the Crown Prince Klaus, remained silent throughout the meeting. It was unusual for Klaus to not speak up during these types of discussions, and
Charles trudged his way back home, with grocery bags in his hands. The sun had set a while ago, casting the city into darkness. It was a quiet night, with the occasional sounds of passing cars and honking. As he walked, his thoughts drifted to the prince's offer. The crown prince wanted him by his side as an ally. Charles wondered about the benefits this alliance would bring and how it would further his goals. But he could not shake his apprehension about the prince's ulterior motives. Finally, he arrived home to find Elena serving dinner on the dining table. Charles couldn't help but feel exhausted as he sat down. Elena seemed to notice his fatigue and asked him about his day, and what he bought from the market. He told her in detail about his encounter with the prince, about his offer of an alliance, and how it could benefit them. Elena listened eagerly, her eyes shining with greed."That could help us a lot," Elena said with a sly look, and Charles realized that she was not con
Prince Klaus rode on his horse towards the main crowded market, the sun beating down on his skin. He had heard of a man called Charles, a fisherman who had supplied the fish for their royal feast. Klaus had heard rumors that Charles had connections throughout the kingdom and might just be the ally that Klaus had been searching for.As he rode through the busy marketplace, Klaus spotted Charles selling fish to the crowded customers. Klaus couldn't believe his luck, he had just stumbled upon the man he had been looking for.Klaus approached Charles slowly, making sure not to startle him. Charles, however, had already recognized Klaus and his intentions."What do you want with me, your royal highness?" asked Charles, eyeing Klaus with suspicion."I need your help. I'm on a mission to ascend the throne, and I want you to be my ally," replied Klaus earnestly, looking Charles straight in the eye.Charles paused for a moment, contemplating. "And why should I help you?"Klaus, not one to shy
