Still lying on the ground with an embarrassed look, Damon just gaze was at the woman that was lying on the ground but he couldn't see her.

His eyes were tied and he was blind.

He squatted and raised his hand.

Diana saw his actions and gulped harder. "Is he trying to hit me or what?" She mumbled. Seeing that his hands were coming close to her hair...she shut her eyes tight and suddenly felt a warm touch on her head.

His touch was gentle as he was massaging the scalp of her hair...Diana released the force which she used in shutting her eyes as she opt to savor her moment with his touch.

Damon, on the other hand, removed his hands from her hair and leaned close to her to inhale her scent.

After that, he knew who she was, his betrothed.

"It'll be a shame for you to die by the law because a common blind man like me rejected you! Such a pity!" Damon scoffed as his lips twitched.
