Armando's eyes scanned the stage, searching for Leonor. There she was, brought out by two handlers, her eyes defiant even in her vulnerable state. Armando's heart lurched. The auction began, and the bids flew. Armando felt sick, hearing these men barter for Leonor.

Armando was about to bid when Willams stopped him. Williams leaned in. "We can't bid, sir. We'll blow our cover. They might not really recognize Miss Leonor right now but once you are recognized then they would know she is the woman who had accompanied you to an event and made things hard for you."

Armando's voice was a low growl. "We won't need to. Watch."
