12. Jealous Jaxon

Lauren stared at Jaxon with her racing heart and fearful eyes. Jaxon got up from the bed abruptly and raked his hand through his hair letting out a frustrated groan. Then turn around to look at Lauren who was still sitting on the bed looking down.

"Look, my wolf was in control now. And I'm sure you knew that. Whatever he says, don't take it seriously. It was just a mistake. I think he has lost his sane mind. I will talk to him. Though I can't promise you that this thing will never repeat, I will try that nothing like today ever happens in the future." Saying that he rushed outside of the room leaving Lauren shattered.

Her chest felt heavy, and her eyes got teary. She felt pathetic. Why does no one want her? Why does everyone reject her and run away from her as if she's contagious? She asked in her mind but got no answer. She hid her face in the pillow and cried her heart out.
