Chapter 7

"You are late boss." I said to Delroy while standing behind the office door, wearing a stunning smug on my face.

"By a minute," he replied, looking around the office, and back to me, "and you are early."

Smiling at him, I picked up from my desk his coffee mug which was steaming hot just as him this morning. "Early to have made your drink, and-" I fetched the file containing today's meeting, "sorted out everything you might need about today's meeting with the graphic designers."

Speechless, Delroy took the file and flipped through walking to his seat. A tiny smile broke up on his face, lighting the entire room.

"Did your date not happen?" He pushed the file to the side, and looked straight into my eyes, still smiling.

"It did happen, and was a beautiful success."

No lie can be traced back to my sentence because I've told nothing but the truth. Yesterday was, and still is magical. Nothing can take back the fun and feeling that came with getting to know Gary on a sexual level.
