Chapter 14: Tame

Regina’s P.O.V

I shouldn’t have fallen asleep.

That was the first thought I had when I found one arm strained above my head as I came back to consciousness. Damnit!

I had stayed up for a long time! I had stayed up and I had tried my best to find any kind of weapon on or around the bed so that I could have something on me in case I needed to defend myself when Draco woke up. But at the early hours of dawn, when light had just begun to break through the horizon…I hadn't even realized when I had dozed off and as a result…one of my hands had been tied to the bed while I had been sleeping.

Snapping my eyes open, I jerked on the constraints, only to be yanked back hard by whatever was holding me. “Damnit!” I winced when the pain shot through my arm.
