Bonus Story: Rico and Paris 10

A Night to Remember:

Rico watched Paris turn into the alleyway after his shift at work. He had been waiting in his car that was parked a block away from the station, so that no one got suspicious of him.

That boy again! Rico frowned as he saw Paris say goodbye to a friend of his, that had followed him to join the NYPD right after graduating college.

If he wasn’t wrong…the boy had been Paris’s friend in school as well. It made Rico frown even harder. Why was that boy following Paris around even now?

“Hey.” Paris greeted him as soon as he entered the car. “Have you been waiting long?”

“Five minutes.” Rico’s voice was curt, and he instantly regretted the slip up.

“What’s up with you? You sound grumpy.” Paris raised his eyebrows at his boyfriend. “Was it something about work?”

“No.” Rico shook his head. “It’s nothing,”
