I just let the night pass without saying anything. I was restless after eating, constantly recalling what the maid had said earlier. Perhaps Lucas feels stressed as a result of his uncle Elias's pressure. Maybe it's just directed at me, even though I'm not doing anything wrong to him. My thoughts snapped out of control when I heard her voice. My attention shifted to Luke's nanny, who was presently having a wide-eyed expression. I couldn't help but shake my head in response to her question. She must have discovered that I had no plans to get up and join them, as now is the time that Luke went up to his room.
