He's back

(John Edwards POV)

“No! I don't want to go with you! You can't just come to my school and tell them that you are my father because you are not!” Cole shouted, and believe me, what he said hurt me a lot.

“I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to spend some time with you,” I assured him, but just as I predicted, he was just as stubborn as his mother.

“Principal Johnson shouldn't have allowed me to go with you. I told him that I wasn't your son, and the bastard took one look at you and declared that I was lying, saying that we looked the same. I just don't get people anymore.” Cole shook his head and folded his arms. His face was getting red because he was angry.

I swear on my life, though, I wasn't going to hurt him. I don't even want to hurt Rachael. I was only using this as a way of getting her to talk to me, to see that I've changed and wanted to pick up on what I have missed out on. But, my son hates me, and I don't blame him for it.
