One year later

“Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Micah! Happy birthday to you!” We shouted at the top of our voices. Emily and Brady now have a one-year-old son named Micah. I was at their birthday party celebrating with them, which was a lot of fun.

Emily ran up to me and pulled me in for a hug, I'd never seen her so happy before, and I was glad. She had been through a lot with her parents fighting her to work at their hotel, which she finally agreed to do. After Emily and Brady resigned, Xander had to hire two more people, and right now, I was mad at him.
