“What? Leave me alone.” Julia said as she turned over on the floor.

Ellie and Elsa both giggled at her childishness.

They tapped her again.

“I said leave me alone, are you deaf?” She said angrily. She really hates being woken up while she was sleeping.

“Guess we will have to leave her here then.” Ellie said.

“Bye, Julia, see you in class.” They both chorused and smirked.

“What?!” Julia exclaimed and sat up straight immediately.

“It is morning already?” She asked.

“Yes.”

“How possible is that?” She asked.

“I.. I just slept a while ago, right?” She asked.

They furrowed their eyebrows at her question.

“Wait, we are going to class?” She asked.

“Yes.” Elsa said sternly.

“Oh my goodness, I am going to miss class. Jayson is gonna kill me.” She said and hurriedly stood up from the ground. Ellie's ears perked up immediately.

Ouch! My back. Julia said as she stretched her bones. They cringed at the sound her body was making.

“It hurts so much. Remind never to sleep on the floor again.” Julia said.

“What does Jayson have to do with you waking up late?” She asked.

“You don’t he is my b…” Julia stopped and looked at them. She gulped dryly.

“N-Nothing.” She said and hurried out of room.

They looked at each other and shrugged. But deep down in Ellie's mind, she was not comfortable.

‘What is she hiding?’ Ellie thought.

“Let's go.” Elsa said and brought her out of her reverie.

They kept walking in the direction of their class. As they entered the class, they met only the J boys.

“Where are the remaining students?” They both thought inwardly.

The J boys looked back to see those who invaded their privacy and saw it was none other than the new students. They looked at them. This made Elsa and Ellie especially conscious of themselves.

Just then Ellie noticed that Jayson was not sitting next to her again but just right beside Elsa. Her eyes were wide open as she stared at them.

Jake looked at this girl that had caught his attention since she came but she was looking somewhere else. He followed the direction and saw the people she was staring at. He narrowed his eyes on Jayson and her other sister.

‘Why is she staring at them like that?’ He thought.

The other guys were busy taking about other stuffs.

Soon after, other students started walking in in groups.

The teacher came in not long after.

“We will be having Mathematics as our first subject and our topic for today is..” As the teacher was talking, some people were lost in their own world.

Jayson kept staring at Elsa intently who did not bulge a bit although she knew he was staring at her.

Ellie trying her best not to look at them but failed miserably. You might be guessing why she is so much attracted to him. It has a reason. A reason she could not tell anyone.

And Jake.. staring at Ellie and pondering on why she was staring at them.

The teacher after so many talks noticed this. He looked from one direction to the other and saw the chemistry that was ongoing.

“Jake Wellington, Ellie Williams, Jayson Smith. Seems like you are not interested in my class.” The teacher asked.

They all looked at him. Several faces turned towards them. They gulped dryly.

“I guess you are up for detention.” The teacher said.

“Rule 354 of the school states that when you are in class, let go off everything so that you would be able to focus in class. Seems like you forgot about.” The teacher said while handling a file over to them.

“Put your signatures and marched to the detention room.” The teacher said. They were tongue tied.

Ellie stood up silently and left for the room that is if she knows where it was. Jake and Jayson both stared at each other and smiled.

“Guess we have no other choice.” Jayson said and looked at Elsa the last time.

Jace and Jeremy both giggled at them.

“It is really hard seeing Jayson and Jake going to the detention room, really weird.” They said.

“If you are not careful, you might join them as there are so many seats there.” The teacher said with sarcasm.

Shawna was surprised too. Like what made Jayson end up in the detention room.

“It is that girl.” She said.

“Who?” Her friend, Tessy asked.

“The one that was also sent into the detention room.” She said sternly.

“I will teach her a lesson later.” She said in anger.

Jake and Jayson stepped out of the class and walked towards the class. Both of them neither spoke to each other.

Jake then looked around for the lady that was also sent out. He saw her going in the wrong direction.

“Hey!” He called out.

Jayson looked up to see the person he was calling.

“Hey, you are going in the wrong direction.” He said as he ran towards her.

Luckily for him, he caught hold of her hands. She stopped suddenly as she felt someone hold her hands. She stopped thinking it was the person she wanted to see but as she turned she was disappointed as the person she was expecting took another direction while the one that was holding kept staring at her.

“Anything the problem?” He asked. She looked at him and pulled her hands away from him immediately.

“Are you crying?” He asked. She touched her cheeks and she felt how wet it was.

She sniffed.

“No, thanks.” She said and was about to leave when he held her hands again.

She turned to look at him and then at their interlocked fingers.

“Just wanted to tell you that you were going in the wrong direction.” He said and pointed towards the direction.

It dawned at her that moment.

She removed her hands.

“Thanks.” She said and went in direction he had pointed to. He sighed and followed her.

“If you don’t mind, can we have lunch together this noon?” he asked.

“No.” She said and walked ahead of him into the detention room.

He stood frozen there.
