Gabriel’s POV

I was pissed, pacing back and forth in anger. I had called Lovette but instead of her sweet voice, I was greeted by Ralph's gruff tone. He had warned me to stay away from his girl and told me they were at the fair having the fun of their life.

She's her own person and she can make her own decisions.

She is not his.

It was his audacity for me. Was he trying to get back at me for answering the phone when he tried to call Lovette?
