Lovette POV

We all looked to Celeste for guidance and I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that she was here to help.

“I know this is a difficult time for you, Lovette,” Celeste said, placing a hand on my shoulder. “But I promise we will get through it together.”

So this is what will happen, guys," Celeste said, her voice resolute. "We are still going to have to go with what your father wants."

Gabriel looked at me with concern, knowing that it doesn't sit well with me.

"We have the power to just storm in wherever her mother is being kept," Celeste continued her voice filled with determination. "But I would advise that we don't risk doing that. They might be with a weapon, who knows? We wouldn’t want them to kill her mother."
