EDWARD’S POV

She was running late on her first day, and I was already fuming with anger. Was it the fact that I had to wait for her to resume before leaving for work? Definitely not; as a matter of fact, I didn't have to wait at all because Lily was already in school, and I could have left if I wanted to.
