Chapter 16.2: Reunion

Ramina rang the doorbell three times before a young lady came to open the gate, probably their new maid.

"Good morning, ma'am! Please, get inside."

Ramina smiled at the maid. She was unfamiliar with her.

When the lady noticed the curiosity on Ramina's face. She smiled and bowed her head a little. "I am Mary. I am serving your family for two years already, ma'am," she said.

Ramina's mouth formed an 'o'. She held Prescelle's shoulders and looked at Mary. "This is my daughter, Prescelle."

Prescelle on the other hand looked up and cutely waved her hands. "Hi!" she says.

Mary smiled at her. "Hi, pretty girl!" she greeted back, equaling her energy. She stepped aside and motioned her hand for them to come in.

Ramina took a last glance at the full view of the mansion before entering the gate, beside her is Prescelle.

"Ma'am—"

"Call me Ramina. For sure, you and I are just in the same age . . ." Ramina gently says.
