Chapter 17: Trap

When Ramina came home that night, she received a message from Percy saying that she should get back to work by tomorrow. Because of that, Ramina fell asleep with an anxious thinking that something bad might had happen while she was gone.

Ramina woke up the next morning and immediately dressed up for work. While she was having her breakfast, she called Vina to talk to her daughter. It only rings for a few before Vina answered.

"[Whoever you are. . .fuck you.]" She said in a sleepy voice.

Ramina winced and chuckled. "Good morning, my dear sister."

She heard her gasped. "[Oh, damn. Ramina, is this you?!]" Ramina chuckled because her voice suddenly changed in a panic tone.

"[God, I didn't know! I'm sorry!]"

Ramina laughed in response. "I was just gonna ask you if Prescelle's already awake."

"[Oh. . .She's still asleep. What time will you fetch her?]"

"After work."

"[Okay, I will tell her that you called. Are you leaving for work already?]"

"Yeah. I'm still eating breakfast."

"[
