Chapter Fifty-Seven

Jaxon and I spent the morning cleaning up the mess of ash out of my room. We also got ahold of Sebastian and asked if he could update my room after the builders fix it up. I still feel such strong guilt at what happened but Jaxon has reassured me I can't control what I dream nor how it will affect me. I had told him what my dream was about and he had looked concerned before mind linking Trev to see if he could get in touch with Gretchen. If she doesn't show up in the next few days we will have to disappear for a while.

The outside world beyond our borders has been extremely quiet. Almost too quiet. Every so often when I take my morning run along the borders I get this feeling that I am being watched. I have told Jaxon about it but everytime he sends his trackers and a few patrol wolves out, they can't find any sign that anybody was there.
