10| Hot Dogs At Sunset

My knees felt weak. I opened and banged on the door repeatedly but to no avail. The door remained locked tight. I'm stuck in here like a fool. No one will know I'm here somehow. I don't even have my cell phone with me.

I want to know how long I've been cooped up in the music room. Looks like I fell asleep too. When I realized it was already afternoon. I sat up straight, and the sadder, I saw the sky from the window starting to turn yellow.

"No one will notice if I don't come back."

I looked at the door. Wonderful. The door was ajar. How could that be?

I quickly stood up and left. My heart is pounding. It felt like I couldn't even walk. The hallway on the third floor was empty and quiet as it had been this afternoon. My body swayed, and I immediately leaned against the wall.

"Hey, are you okay?"

I turned around. He was standing behind me with messy curls. Maybe blown away by the wind. I backed away until my back hit the music room door with a terrified face.

"You?"
