Kyra and Cael make their way to the cafeteria. They dispatched police officers to the school to investigate the incident. The death of a maintenance worker on duty at the gymnasium and basketball locker room is making the rounds on social media. And the incident is being investigated as a murder. The victim's stomach got ruptured, and there was nothing left within. They heard them they would detain all the players and interrogate them individually.
When Kyra and Cael walk through the locker room, they notice the players talking with the cops.
"You killed the Wendigo before it could find another victim," Cael said.
"How did this beast end up at our university? "Kyra said.
"Didn't we search the university repeatedly to find the portal? We saw nothing. Perhaps the beast just landed here," Cael speculates.
"How is Tyler doing? "Cael suddenly asked.
"How come you're interested in him? "Kyra asked in shock.
When she heard Tyler's name, she immediately remembered what had happened the day before. About how he stripped naked in front of her. Her attention shifted to Tyler's whereabouts. Kyra did not know he was looking at her. Kyra instantly averted her gaze.
"Are you blushing?" Cael asked.
"What? "Kyra asked, surprised. "I am not. Let's go to the cafeteria and avoid being stranded in a huge line."
Kyra hastily exited, and Cael pursued her.
-----
"Negligence? Did you seriously think about that now?"
Students had already filled the cafeteria when they entered. Fortunately, several students walked away and left an empty table. While they ate, Cael and Kyra sat across from each other.
"You were the only one on duty yesterday. You cannot save the world by yourself." Cael said, "Superman is dead because his so-called allies have turned against him."
Kyra has said nothing. She couldn't get the thought out of her head that someone had died because of her carelessness. Nobody would have been killed if she had discovered the Wendigo sooner.
"Do you mind if I join you guys?"
Cael and Kyra were conversing and moved their gaze to the left.
When Tyler stands across from them with a meal tray."Sure." "No. "
Cael and Kyra exchanged glances as they disagreed. Tyler chuckled and sat next to Cael. His grin broadens.
"Are you Tyler, right? "Cael asked.
"Doesn't there seem to be any other empty tables?" Kyra scoffed.
"I won't ask if I may share a table with you if there's another empty table," Tyler said.
"Ignore Kyra, Tyler," Cael said. "She's anxious."
Kyra cast a peek at Cael. "It's OK." Tyler said, "I also don't want to become engaged in her worries."
"What made the cop's questions the team? Do they suspect you guys of murder? "Cael asked.
"The cops considered everyone a suspect. They basically choose the nearest one as the primary suspect," Tyler said. "Which is illogical."
"What exactly do you mean? "Cael asked.
Tyler cast a peek at Kyra. "They stated the body had been dead for 18 hours. That shows he died the night before yesterday. Do you believe they'll be able to find that killer now? Perhaps he fled or got killed yesterday."
The two of them exchanged glances. "You have a point. When is your next game?"
"The next weekend. Hawk vs. Tiger." Tyler said.
Tyler gave Kyra a sidelong glance. "Hey, perv, you can watch the game live. Tell me, and I will send you tickets."
"What? "Kyra scowled. "What did you call me?"
"Kyra. Isn't that your name?" Tyler responds, "We've met again."
Tyler stares at Kyra, who has suddenly become uncomfortable. He seemed to know something, Kyra thought. "I'm not sure. Even I don't know who I am," Kyra replied.
"Are you sure we haven't met before?" Tyler said, "In the locker room."
Cael cast a glance towards Kyra. They seem to communicate by making eye contact. 'Didn't you delete his memory? '
'I deleted it, Cael.'
"Are you her boyfriend? "Tyler asked Cael.
Cael smiled as he responded, "No, we're just friends. Close friends"
Tyler gave Kyra a sidelong glance. "So you don't have a boyfriend?"
"What piques your interest? Are you interested in dating me?" Kyra's sarcasm.
Tyler grinned. Tyler said, "It all makes sense now."
Tyler was about to stand up when Kyra grabbed his arm. "What does it even mean?"
Kyra released Tyler's grasp when he stood up. Tyler leaned down close to Kyra and whispered something in her ear.
"I see now that you enjoy seeing me take a bath nude. Keep it a secret." Tyler whispered, "They could become envious."
"What the..." Kyra spun around, stunned, as she kissed Tyler on the side of his lips. Kyra pushed Tyler away with an "Oh, my gosh."
Tyler grinned, then looked away. Kyra's feelings looked to be bursting at the seams. She got hot on her face while everyone was observing her, not because she was angry. Kyra smiled as she turned to face Cael. Kyra took a long breath after clenching her fist.
"Have you seen him naked?" Cael asked in curiosity.
"Shut up, Cael," Kyra growled. She got up when Cael laughed at her.
———-
"Hey, buddy, I thought you were just going to chat with the chick. Why didn't you say you were going to kiss her?"
Tyler took a seat among his colleagues. Their team has special seats in the cafeteria. He was only looking for a way to contact Kyra, a woman he had just met yesterday. He wasn't expecting her to kiss him.
Tyler chuckled. "Dude, that was an accident. She wasn't expecting me to turn around."
Everyone burst out laughing. Tyler turned back to see Kyra and her friend walking away.

Beatrix calls Cael and Kyra. Because of the incident, the faculty could cancel classes. Cael and Kyra take a stroll over to the parking lot.
"Mission? What exactly is this demon? "Cael asked.
From the other line, Beatrix said, "There is already news on social media."
Cael quickly grabbed his phone, and they could gain the information when he entered social media. Two people mysteriously vanished in front of their friends and family. The suspect killed the victims elsewhere. And not everyone believed it when they discovered the two guys with shredded faces and no bones in separate locations. Kyra and Cael dashed into the car. Kyra grabbed her iPad from the dashboard and began looking through their databases for the demon's name.
Kyra recognized the creature they were going to face. She showed it to Cael.
"Shinigami demons are the most dangerous of all flying demons. They like tearing people's faces off and smashing their bones into powder," Kyra explained.
Cael said, "Wow, this one's creepy." He began driving. Meanwhile, Tyler keeps an eye on them until their car exits the campus.
"Are they going home? "Tyler asked himself.
------
Many people were in the area when Cael and Kyra got out of the car and started walking. A concert seems to take place nearby. They came to the venue.
"This place is crowded," Cael said.
"Shinigami demons," Kyra said, "It can eat a lot here."
Above them, they hear the loud flapping from the big wing. Cael and Kyra look into the sky and spot three unusual flying creatures. Except for them, no one else noticed.
"The Shinigami demons," Kyra said. Kyra moved her gaze to Cael.
Cael hurled his two boomerang-shaped blades towards the flying demons, which flew out of his hand. Cael's boomerang blade struck both Shinigami demons, attracting their attention. They fled as the Shinigami demons flew toward them.
They came to a complete halt while they were nowhere near anyone. Kyra's two hands gleamed as she laid them on the ground. Kyra harnessed the energy of the earth and grass. She directed it against the Shinigami demons in a series of attacks. Cael relaunched his boomerang blade and hit one monster.
Kyra attacks the Shinigami demon with both of her weapons. It collided with the demon's body and burnt like paper into the air.
When Kyra noticed the Shinigami demons near her, her eyes widened. She'd seen nothing like that. It has a shark-like mouth with crowded teeth and long fangs. They also have enormous, spiky, unkempt black wings that repel talons and starlight. The thing waved its hand, hit Kyra by the arm, and soared away.
"Ugh," Kyra said as she fell to the ground.
"Are you OK, Kyra? "Cael asked.
"I'm OK," Kyra replied.
Kyra struggled to stand up and use the energy of the people and plants around her. Kyra encased the demon in a massive ball of electricity.
Kyra said, "Finish it, Cael."
As Cael sprang to his feet, he tossed his boomerang blade knife into the air and then flew it at the demon. The demon burnt in front of them a few moments later.
Cael and Kyra were panting as they sat on the grass. "You're exceptional," Kyra said with a smile to Cael.
"I know," Cael said, laughing.
They were being watched without their knowledge.
"Fascinating."
He swiftly turned around and returned to his car.

Kyra enjoyed sitting on the grass beside the soccer field, watching the players practice. It was one of her ways to recharge her power. Tyler was the last person she expected to see. Kyra watched the basketball team exit the gym. A bunch of ladies approached and seized the team. Kyra shook her head. "They're worse than demons," Kyra said with disappointment. Kyra kept reading Manga Online. It distracted her a few moments later when she noticed someone seated next to her. Kyra diverted her gaze to him since he wore jeans and used a man's cologne. She hadn't expected to see Tyler. He wasn't looking at her and was wearing headphones. Kyra took off her headphones and turned to face the man. "Why are you here? "Kyra asked. But when the man didn't respond, Kyra took the headphone out of his ear. The man turned toward her and looked puzzled. "Why? "Tyler asked. Kyra smirked and asked the man once more. "Why are you here?" "I'm a student at this university. I am entitled to use school f
The next day, when Kyra and Cael were getting out of the car, Kyra spotted Tyler. He was leaning up against a car, staring at them. The sight of the man irritated her. She was afraid it would bring up the incident in the shower again. "Are you going somewhere? "Cael asked. "The bell will ring shortly." Cael saw Kyra was not heading to the university's entrance gate. Kyra took a step forward and looked at him. Kyra said, "I simply need to buy something." "Do you want me to accompany you? "Cael asked. "I don't think I'll need a bodyguard. Just go," Kyra urged. Cael chuckled. "All right, you're on your own now. I'm going in." Cael turned his back on Kyra since she said nothing. He dashed to the next building after quickly scanning his ID on the machine. While Kyra walked closer to Tyler, Tyler smiled at her. As Kyra approached Tyler, she said, "Give me my ID." Tyler is holding a bag and wearing a varsity jacket. As Kyra neared, his smile broadened. Tyler said, "Good morning to y
Kyra was the first one to get up in the morning. She ran to their hideout in the nearby park. Kyra does it every morning to maintain her strength. It did not quickly exhaust her while doing it, especially when they were hunting demons. Tyler was one of the last people she expected to encounter at the park. Many women are watching him while he does push-ups. Kyra didn't recognize him at first, but when he smiled at her when he stood up to sip water, he saw her among the women watching him. When Kyra saw Tyler was about to approach her, she pivoted around and bolted. Tyler simply grinned and pursued Kyra. Kyra sped away. She didn't glance back to relieve her anxiousness. Her jogging returned to normal after it convinced her she was far away. 'What the hell is she up to? What brings him to our village? Does this imply that he also lives here? Why here, when there are so many villages and subdivisions? 'Kyra thought. Kyra grimaced as she dashed forward. "What made you flee? Do you bel
Damon grabbed his bag off the floor and zipped it up. “I don’t have time for that. As you can see, I’m a working student. I study in the morning and work at night.” Cael took something from his wallet and handed it to Damon. It was a calling card. Damon took it immediately. “If you change your mind, just call that number,” said Cael. “Let’s go, Cael. We might be late for class,” said Kyra. Kyra walked quickly, and Cael followed her. Cael spoke again before finally leaving the building. “Ordinary eyes can’t see what’s written there. You don’t have to work anymore when you accept my offer. See you!” Cael said until he was out of Damon’s sight. Damon looked at the card he was holding. There is a big letter A written there, and it is gold-colored. Below, the card’s name is a number. Teen Hunters - 836 4837. ------ Damon stared at the black card given to him by a man named Cael. He had just finished class, and a few hours had passed since he had seen and fought that strange creature
Damon noticed that Kyra's palm lit up, and the couple fainted. Cael and Damon were about to bring them into the bathroom, but before the two men could move, the couple floated in the air. "Well done," said Cael. "Behind you, Cael," said Kyra, casting her dagger. Cael immediately sat down to avoid the blade, and he turned around. The snake demon was behind him. "Get out of there, Cael," said Damon. Cael noticed Damon throwing a fireball repeatedly, hitting the snake demon's neck. 'The snake demon is afraid of fire,' Cael thought. Cael turned towards Damon. "Use your fire, Damon," said Cael. "Aim me!" said Kyra. Damon looked at Kyra. Although Damon couldn't understand what Kyra said, his fire came out with his two hands, and Kyra was his target. Damon's fire penetrated Kyra's energy ball, and Kyra threw it at the serpent. She trapped the snake into the energy ball, and the serpent struggled. "Cael, finish it," said Kyra. Cael plunged his boomerang blade into the snake, and an ex
Kyra went straight to the library. She found a good book there with modern layout designs of modern houses. Khali needed that to get an idea of her project. The book is not where she saw it when she last visited the library. ‘I wish I had just borrowed the book if I only knew it would be lost,’ Kyra thought. Someone standing behind her and reaching from the top of the bookshelf startled Kyra. She looked up, and it surprised her to recognize who it was. Tyler leaned over her, and their noses almost touched because his face was just too close to hers. Kyra immediately removed her gaze from Tyler, and because of what she suddenly did, she and Tyler collided. The two of them hit each other’s foreheads. “Aw!” “Ouch!” “What are you doing?” Kyra said, annoyed. She caresses her forehead, which she thinks is blushing. Tyler caresses his reddened forehead. “I’m just helping you. I know this is what you’re looking for,” said Tyler. It surprised Kyra when Tyler handed her the book she was
Tyler just smiled at what Kyra said. He thought she would struggle to hold her hand, but Kyra didn't stop him. They started walking towards the woman, who didn't seem to know that the two of them were approaching. She was still busy dancing on the football field. The woman was dancing an old-fashioned dance that Tyler was familiar with. It was a traditional dance from the sacred mountains in ancient times. Tyler stopped walking when he noticed the woman was naked, and what served as her clothing was her tail. She also has long silver hair that is as long as its tail. What Kyra had seen astounded her. Kyra suddenly felt a nervousness that she could not understand. The woman stopped dancing and turned to the two of them. Kyra noticed a strange light all over her body. It is like a fire, but she's not sure. Kyra turned to Tyler. She doesn't know if Tyler also sees what she sees. Their eyes met, and Kyra and Tyler saw her golden yellow eyes. "Who are you?" the woman asked. Kyra pulls
Kyra dashed to the cafeteria where she, Cael, and Damon had planned to meet. However, the two were not there when she entered the school cafeteria. While searching, Kyra attempted to call Cael. When Cael does not answer, she dials Damon's number. Their phones, like Cael's, are simply ringing. Cael and Damon were nowhere to be found when Kyra checked the big clock in the main building thirty minutes before break time. Kyra cast a glance in the group's direction in the distance. As she arrived, she noticed Cael and Damon seated next to a woman called Lilibeth. "What happened to them? "Kyra whispered. "What's all the fuss about?" Kyra turned around, Tyler standing next to her as she watched the men circle the woman as she sat on the bench next to the two men. Tyler recognized the two students who were sitting next to the girl. Those were Kyra's friends. Tyler also noticed his teammates who were there. He had been looking for them since earlier. "What's going on? Why are they surroundi
