Chapter 6: Demon Serpent

Damon grabbed his bag off the floor and zipped it up. “I don’t have time for that. As you can see, I’m a working student. I study in the morning and work at night.”

Cael took something from his wallet and handed it to Damon. It was a calling card. Damon took it immediately.

“If you change your mind, just call that number,” said Cael.

“Let’s go, Cael. We might be late for class,” said Kyra.

Kyra walked quickly, and Cael followed her. Cael spoke again before finally leaving the building.

“Ordinary eyes can’t see what’s written there. You don’t have to work anymore when you accept my offer. See you!” Cael said until he was out of Damon’s sight.

Damon looked at the card he was holding. There is a big letter A written there, and it is gold-colored. Below, the card’s name is a number. Teen Hunters - 836 4837.
