It seemed Tom was right. No, there's no seem about it. He was right. By Monday morning, half of the school was talking about Tate and Lacey. And the news was still spreading. Lacey ignored them as best she could, and them included the girls. But unfortunately, three of them caught up with her after their second class. "Seriously Lacey. You never ever agreed to go to a party with us and Tate comes out of nowhere and you say yes?" Bethany vented.

"Okay, calm down Bethany. Let's be honest here, if Tate Winston came up to you tell me you wouldn't say yes?" Fay asked. Thank goodness, Lacey didn't have to explain anything.
