Chapter 93: The Start: I've Trusted You

Daniel's POV

I woke up hearing a noise around me. Are we there yet? I slept too well. I tried to move but couldn't, so I opened my eyes. I'm in an abandoned warehouse, and where is it? I do not know. I thought so because the one I remembered having with me before I fell asleep was Javier.

Is Javier the traitor? Where did she take me? I tried to move, but both my arms were tied up, as were my feet.

"Hmm, wake up."

The warehouse's door opened, and the light from there blinded me. It's morning, and I didn't even notice. It's dark around here. However, I recognized its voice.

"You are a coward. You always hide from the people around you." I said.

Ryan Lee stood before me, smiling as if he were enjoying looking at me. Later, he punched me in the stomach. It was a decisive blow, and I immediately felt the impact on my stomach. The third blow hit me in the face, not once but twice. I tasted blood in my mouth, then spat it before him.
