Fenris intertwined his hand with mine, making my chest calm a little while the old man was examining me from head to toe.

"Perhaps, the woman standing in front of me is your fiancé." The old man smiled.

"Slender, I want you to meet Kira, and yes, she's my fiancé." He tightened his grip on my hand as he glanced at me.

I managed to smile despite my trembling lips. "Hi, Slender. It's a pleasure to meet you." We shook hands while smiling at each other until his brows slightly crossed at me.
