Chapter 46

My knees trembled as the woman looked at me from head to toe until the side of her lips slowly rose.

"Nice to finally meet you." She kissed my cheek before she looked at me again, now with a smile on her face.

A sigh of relief escaped my mouth. I thought she was gonna roast me alive. Thank God, she smiled.

"Pleasure to meet you." I smiled, still wondering who she was. Her golden eyes were reminding me of Fenris' eyes.

"Mom." Fenris came walking towards us. He hugged his mom then her mom kissed her on both sides of the cheeks.

I bit my lower lip. Oh God, I should have at least combed my hair before going outside the room. I simply brushed my hair with my fingers while Fenris and her mom were talking.

Her mom looked so fresh and young. She didn't look like a woman in her fifties. She looked way younger. I wished I would look that young when I got old.

"So... you finally met my fiancé." Fenris looked at me. "Kira, meet my mother, Flores Blevine."
