Chapter 45

In just a split second, Fenris started exploring the inside of me again. Just like that, I gave myself up to him. I didn't know what or where our story would bring us but all I hoped that the odds would be in my favour. It was scary to fall in love but I didn't expect it would be this scary.

It feels like a matter of life and death. I even have no idea how would I admit my feelings for him because as much as I wanted to forget, it was embroidered on my mind that he was only doing this act for convenience, for the responsibility he owed to himself and his family.

I was laying on the bed beside him, staring at the ceiling after we both reached our orgasms. I didn't notice I fell asleep and when I opened my eyes again, Fenris was staring at me. He looked away after a second.

My lips thinned before I glanced at the window. It was still dark.

"How long did I fall asleep?" I asked.

"Only a minute," he said. He reached for the robe and covered it to my body then he lay right beside me again
