Chapter 10

I fell asleep out of frustration, with Adrian by my side. We got too tired to pick up from where we stopped in the lounge upon reaching home, so we dropped to our bed, Adrian's bed and fell off, sleeping in each other's arms. I feel alone, no longer cuddled with the warm hand that I had last night. I wake up abruptly only to find out that Adrian is not by my side, he broke my trust yesterday but I wouldn't let that make me begin my day on a bad note.

I raise my eyes to the clock on the wall, it's 5:13 AM. I now recall that Frank told Adrian of his schedule this morning by 5 AM. I head to the bathroom to brush and have a bath, mine is not far from here, I decide to use it instead of Adrian's, I don't wanna take liberties.

Upon finishing this, I walk back to his room where I pick my gown and shoes from the floor. I scan around, surprised to see my purse and phone inside lying on the bedside table. How did this reach here? I recall how I had forgotten it on my seat upon stepping forwar
