Unexpected Encounters

'How could there be two keys in my jacket pocket?' Aura wondered, but she didn't have time to dwell on it too long, afraid the man might wake up.

With a sense of bewilderment, Aura stealthily walked out of the room. She could breathe a sigh of relief when the door behind her closed tightly. In a hurry, Aura returned to her own room, her mind still working hard.

Room keys 2522 and 1828. Room 2522 was the man's room, but how could his room key end up in Aura's jacket pocket? Who put it there? When? And what did it mean? Was someone deliberately trying to trap Aura? And the audacious trap worked! Aura realized she had lost her virginity.

Apart from the pain in her sensitive area, the bloodstains on the bed were tangible evidence that her virginity had been taken by the man. Aura had seen it, even if only briefly! Aura widened the room door and asked Max to come in, making him confused. Usually, Max would stand in front of the room door, not enter the room!

"Come in!"

"What's going on, Miss?"

"I need your help."

Max entered with a puzzled expression, especially when Aura handed him a casual shirt and shorts. What did it mean? And where did Aura get men's clothes like these?

"I bought them through an app," Aura answered, even though Max only asked with his eyes, but Aura understands it.

"Ah, I see. So, what's this for, Miss?"

"You can wear them. I want you to change clothes and accompany me somewhere. But I don't want to attract attention. Do you understand what I mean, right?"

"I understand, Miss. But where do you want to go?"

"To the pharmacy," Aura admitted.

"The pharmacy?" Max repeated, afraid he misheard.

"Yes, I need to buy something."

"I can help you buy it as usual, Miss," Max offered, trying to negotiate, but Aura firmly rejected it. Without any doubt at all.

"No, this time I have to buy it myself," Aura quickly refused, not wanting Max to know what she was going to buy. He might get extremely worried. Yes, Max would surely be anxious if he knew Aura was going to buy contraceptive pills!

Hearing Aura's firm answer, Max decided not to argue further and quickly changed clothes. Now, both of them were in casual attire, wearing hats and sunglasses to conceal their faces from the gaze of fans or journalists who might be lurking at any time. Tirelessly.

"Walk beside me, please. Act as if we're a couple, okay?" Aura requested, receiving a hesitant nod from Max.

"Don't worry, I'll apologize to your wife later for borrowing her husband without permission. But the thing is, this is an emergency!" Aura said, making Max smile.

Actually, it wasn't a problem with his wife, but because it was Max who wasn't used to walking side by side with Aura. Usually, Max always stayed a step behind Aura to observe every point carefully, ensuring that his artist was not touched by sometimes overly fanatic fans! Fans who could potentially endanger the safety of the Aura.

Aura entered the pharmacy, praying that the pharmacy staff wouldn't recognize her.

"I want to buy contraceptive pills and the most accurate test pack," Aura said, slightly lowering her head to hide her face. Fortunately, the pharmacy staff seemed indifferent and provided what Aura requested without many questions.

"Done, Miss?" Max asked when he saw Aura coming out with a white plastic bag. He doesn’t know what Aura bought, Max couldn't see it.

"Hmm, let's go back to the hotel!" Aura said, eager to take the pills she had just bought. Pills that hopefully could prevent her from getting pregnant!

Meanwhile, Axel frowned as the sun seemed dazzling, disturbing his sleep. He stretched and felt the bed beside him. Empty. Lazily, Axel turned around, and the woman who satisfied him last night was nowhere to be seen.

'When did that woman leave?' Axel wondered, but in vain, as he still couldn't find an answer to his own question. The reality dashed Axel's intention to continue the activities from the previous night! Usually, his hired women always waited for him to wake up, not leaving Axel just like that! Annoying!

Axel got up to clean himself, but his mind couldn't stop remembering the face of the woman whose virginity he had taken. Axel still vividly recalled her face. Beautiful, but besides her beauty, there was something that made it difficult for Axel to avert his gaze. But he doesn’t know what.

"Here is your boss. A famous solo artist whom you have to protect. Don't let a scratch touch this girl because she is the most valuable asset for us!" Kang Ji Hwan, the manager, joked while pointing towards Aura Gracesyella Park.

Aura turned with a smile, but her smile immediately vanished, replaced by profound surprise when she realized who the man was standing upright in front of her.

The man who replaced Max's duty to protect her.

And it turned out her bodyguard was the same man who had slept with her two nights ago! Damn! How could the world be so small?!
