"So…" Ellie drags out making me roll my eyes.

“What?” I deadpan, raising an eyebrow up.

“Just ask her, Ellie. She isn’t going to bite you.” Sasha yells from the living room. The microwave dinged, I opened it, taking out the now hot burrito.

“Yeah, speak. Ellie and stop being a chicken.” I teased, still wondering what she wants to ask me that’s making her this timid.

“Fine! Ineedyoutoteachmehowtoskate.” She rushes out, hands balled into a fist, eyes squeezed close.

“What?” I ask, confused. Sasha begins to laugh loudly from the living room.

“Skate as in skateboarding?” I ask, trying to clarify things. Ellie sighs, leaning against the kitchen counter, watching as I pull a bottle of coke out from the refrigerator.

“Don’t get me coke, the gas makes me feel fuzzy.” I roll my eyes, placing the coke on the island.

“It’s not like we’ve been friends for over five years now and stop trying to change the subject. Why do you need to skateboard.” I ask and she groans, dragging her hands over
