He couldn't remember the last time he had pined over another female after she had left his life. He made sure to pull her against himself and nuzzle his head in the crook of her neck,  taking deep whiffs of her scent. 

   

Her shoulders tensed and she turned away from the sandwich she was trying to pull together and her bright ginger brown eyes made even brighter due to the steady stream of sunlight from the windows behind them,  to stare up into his fresh scrubbed face.

"Dario."

His head lowered again,  tickling her with his soft tresses of hair which weren't up in ponytail for a change and growled in response. He loved the way she said his name. Her African accent blessed her words making it sound like the finest word to his ears.
