Seeing Taylor made me smile and my nerves left me. He looked so happy to finally talk to me in peace and without worrying over Nick. I have to say his plan of acting like we are related is a clever plan. Holding the wolf tightly he smiles wider and said with a puff from his chest.

“I see you got my gift and I’m glad you like him, I called him Love because I gave him out of love to you, he was made by my fur.”

His expression was weird, maybe he meant his white hair. It’s very unique I have to say, but how could his hair be turned into a stuff animal?

With these questions I heard him talk to which snapped me from my mind.

“I saw you went somewhere after what I said about Love, I’ll explain after you read the book Fated to the Sapphire Alpha by Meg Elly Gerena, you need to understand better than Mishi did.”

What he said got me curios and I asked him.

“Is that a book I can buy online or is it in an app?”

He scratched his nose as he said, “it’s in Kindle and A****n next year from what the author has stated, but it’s available to read in the D****e app, I could buy it for you when you d******d it load the app.” He smiled at me again and it felt magical to have him look at me with so much love.

“Why did you ask Natasha to lie and to call you? Why did you made this wolf for me? Do you know about the father of my baby?”

He took deep breaths and moved his Celine a bit more to his beautiful face that made me blush a little bit. He had his button down shirt with two buttons undone and a golden chain around him, while his hair was gelled back, leaving only two stray hairs on his face.

I did t notice he had earrings in his ears till now, but when we met we were in the water and then in Silas bedroom. Remembering this I blurted out while he was talking.

“I could just leave you—-”

“Why are you following me?”

He gave me a sad smile and I saw how hard it was for him to talk to me.

“Because I think you’re perfect, I had to go back to my home urgently, I can’t tell you anything until you read that book, but I can tell you I went to buy you food and came back to give you a proper morning and when I came back Silas said you ran away. Reed learned you were looking for me and when he was going to take you to me, but that asshole and his ego came back. Reed had hell trying to find you because of his military service.”

Hearing him talk about Reed like he is some kind of detective, or spy. Interested I guessed it would be right to come clean to him.

“Taylor, to be honest with you when we met I filed for divorce to Nick and wanted to get rid of my married life, then I met you and I thought my luck had finally change, then you suddenly vanished and months later we meet through a video call.”

Taylor spoke softly to me as I felt my emotions take over.

“I don’t have any words of forgiveness to say to you and I want to prove my words to you, call Silas and ask him what I did, Natasha is married to my brother Jay, we aren’t related, but he is like my brother, she is going to want to come up here and I need you to come with her. Even if you both have to go back, she will be your guard, after months of trying to find you we finally found you and learned of a couple of crap Nick did to you, I need you to make an excuse to stay with Natasha because I don’t trust him and I want to talk more about our baby.”

Hearing him state the baby I’m carrying is his made me look at the image again while he spoke.

“The image says you are four months pregnant and we had sex on the time you got pregnant, the baby is mine Bella.”

I looked at him shocked that he knew my nickname, but if he has been in touch with Silas he might have told Taylor more about me. However I’m puzzled about what he is claiming and I know I didn’t had sex with Nick till last month and while I was in the island it’s been five months since we were intimate.

With his logic I felt sick to my stomach and as soon as I showed discomfort he spoke again a bit more determined as the door opens again.

“Then we will see you here next month, can’t wait to have some real family time!”

Hearing how easily it was for him to lie and make up this story made me realize how desperate he was to have me by his side.

“Well this takes care of an issue then, since your cousin is still there I won’t feel this guilty. I’m being deployed to work on a top secret project and I honestly don’t know where it is, I have to go next week and won’t come back for a full year.”

Hearing him I glimpsed for a second the screen of Natasha’s cellphone and saw the bright smile in Taylor’s face that made me express the same face a deer would of it was seeing the headlights of a car in the dark.

“What do you want to do then? I just found out I’m pregnant and fit all I know—”

“If it’s okay with your husband you can come home to us, I know mom would love to have her baby girl and Bella home for a while and get to meet the baby.”

His offer made Nick roll his eyes, this was a shot in the dark and I was losing my confidence with each action Nick took. I was ready to hear an excuse, ready to say goodbye to Taylor again.

“You go with your cousin when I leave in there months from now, I would like to do some small things with you and our baby.”

Hearing him say that made me look up at him and the fear in me was still very real, but I felt a bit safe knowing I would be able to leave without him hurting me again.

“Alright then I’ll make the changes here and let everyone know, can’t wait to have you girls back home! Love ya cousin!”

We both heard Taylor said and the annoyance in Nicks expression gave it all away, I didn’t want to make him angry so I simply ended the call.

Moving my legs to stretch Nick closed the door behind him, fear, anxiety and panic sets in. Nick sits beside my thighs and places his hand on my abdomen to say in a shameless voice.

“I didn’t think that I could get you pregnant, you were sound asleep and I was drunk as hell, I thought I was dreaming until I woke up for a drill and when I saw what I had done I panicked and left.”

Every last word Nick told me made my body cold.

“I’m sorry for rapping you. I swear I’ll love this baby more than I could ever love you.”

The door behind him opens and a cheerful Natasha changes her expression instantly as she looks at me.

Taylor POV The dim light of the hospital room cast soft shadows across Mirabella’s face. She held the moonstone ring in her hand, her fingers tight around it as if it were the one thing anchoring her in the storm that had become her life. Her dark eyes flickered with emotion—hesitation, confusion, hope. I could feel her walls starting to crack, but she wasn’t ready to let them down completely. Not yet. “I just need time,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. I reached for her hand, brushing my lips gently across her knuckles. “Take all the time you need, Bella,” I murmured, my voice steady. “I’m not going anywhere.” She stared at me, the weight of everything unsaid lingering between us. After a long silence, she shifted slightly, making room beside her on the bed. “Will you stay?” she whispered, almost as if she were afraid I’d say no. The vulnerability in her voice shattered me. “Always,” I promised, climbing into the narrow bed beside her. She

Knowing Mirabella was about to say she would remain married to her abuser instead of fighting for us, I decided to act. I needed to make sure she understood that I would respect her choices, but if she was wrong, I wouldn’t hesitate to tell her. She has no idea about my existence as a werewolf, and I’m more than certain she has no clue werewolves even exist. I wasn’t sure how I would explain this to her—it’s a lot for anyone to handle, especially now that she just found out she’s pregnant. Telling her the full truth might be too overwhelming. But maybe, just maybe, I could say enough to spark her curiosity, make her want to learn more. The rule is clear: we don’t tell them what we are. They have to figure it out on their own, even if they are destined to be the Luna of my pack. I pressed my lips gently against hers, feeling her tense under my touch. Mirabella hesitated, her body frozen in place as her mind raced. I knew I had dropped too many bombshells, leaving her spinning

Natasha closed the door behind her and quickly asked with worry, "What happened? I thought my brother had made a good offer, and our parents were just excited to reunite with you again. Why are you crying, Bella?" She took a box of tissues and placed them on my lap. No matter what she did or said, I had no words. I didn’t know what I wanted. Moving felt like a sin. Suddenly, the fear of having Nick’s baby overwhelmed me, and my entire body started to shake. She hugged me quickly, and after that, I don’t remember what happened next. When I opened my eyes, only the sound of the machines greeted me. The entire room felt colder than it should. I tried to move, but Natasha was nowhere in sight. Why was I looking for her? Did I really believe she cared about me? She was sent by Taylor, and I know for a fact this pregnancy is the only reason she was sent. Once I’m further along, I’ll do a blood test to find out who the father is. Then I’ll either get divorced and leave with my ba

Hearing Nick talk in the living room made me feel uneasy. I knew if I asked him for anything, he wouldn't give it to me. I also knew my guy friends would help me, but if I reached out to them, Nick would beat me for talking to other men. Feeling conflicted, I took one more step out of my room and heard Nick’s footsteps approaching. The nausea that swept over me didn't help, especially with the smell of alcohol wafting toward me. “What are—” I puked all over Nick just as he started to talk, and some of it went into his mouth. He bent over and puked a second later. Once he had finished, he straightened up and said, “Get in the car. Now.” I walked to the car, but Nick passed me without acknowledging my state. As I made my way down the two flights of stairs, I feared falling. I tried to take it slow and steady, but Nick’s voice echoed again, shouting, “Can you hurry it up?” He kept yelling as I made my way down, and once I reached the car, I held my stomach, trying to ignore h

Finally, I set the cup down and reached for my phone. I hesitated, then dialed my sister’s number. It rang a few times before she picked up. “Bella?” My sister’s voice was sharp with concern. “Where are you? Nick’s been blowing up my phone looking for you.” “I’m fine,” I said quickly, not wanting her to worry. “I’m at Aunt Lydia’s. I… I just needed some space.” “What happened?” “I’ll explain later. Can you do me a favor? I need you to get my car from Silas’s place. It’s still there, and I don’t want Nick getting his hands on it.” There was a pause on the other end of the line. “Are you sure you’re okay?” “Yeah, I’m sure. Just… please, can you get the car?” “Okay, I’ll take care of it. Just… be careful, Bella.” “Thanks, I will.” I hung up and let out a long breath, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders. Aunt Lydia was watching me, her expression gentle but curious. “I’m sorry to b
