3: Old Friends

Matt went over to his dressor pulling out boxers and shorts and then looked at me.

"Um I'll go change in the bathroom." he said leaving the room with his clothes

I pulled out gym shorts and a grey graphic tee (with 3 miles my favorite boy band on it) and changed into them. I put my dirty clothes into my pop up hamper and then sat down on my bed.

I pulled out my phone playing a few games of Mabricks until Matt came back in the room after awhile and threw his clothes into his hamper. I put my phone away sitting on my bed criss cross and he did the same on his bed facing me so I turned so I was facing him and smirked at him.

"Wanna play a game?" he asked

"Is it a drinking game?" I replied

"I wish, but no it's this thing called truth or dare." He replied with a tight smirk

"You'd like that wouldn't you." I replied smirking back before getting my phone out again and unlocking it

"Oh cmon please." he pleaded

"I need to call my best friend and update her I was supposed to call her as soon as I got here." I stated scrolling to her contact before clicking the little phone icon

My best friend Kuryn from my last school is the only person I've let get close to me at a new school. I always have a few friends but nothing serious but me and her were super close, I almost regret getting expelled. She is a red head with green eyes and freckles actually she looks kind of like Collin but the girl version. I put the phone up to my ear and waited three rings before she picked up.

"Tell me everything." She stated instantly

"Well hello to you too." I said with a laugh

"Don't stalllllll tell me!" She half yelled

"Okay fine. So I found my room and my roommate who's totally hanging on every word I'm saying to you right now." I said before pausing giving him a smirk

He stuck his tongue out at me like a two year old before pulling out his laptop.

"Oh and I ran into this asshole in the hall who was way too handsy." I said

"Want me to come kill him for you?" She asked seeming ready to hop on a flight

"Nah I can handle him, besides most guys here are nice. Matt, my roommate, introduced me to his friends and there was this cute cashier who was totally to die for." I continued my cheeks starting to flush red

"Oo you need to hook me up, all the guys here are total dicks." she stated in a laugh

"I'll work on it don't worry." I replied with a chuckle

"Hey I've gotta go, moms summoning me but I'm excited to see you when I visit soon." she said more excited about the second part than the first

"Me too! I can't wait to see you and byeee." I said smiling

"Byeeee." she replied before hanging up

"So you have a crush on Max?" Matt asked with a smirk

"You're such an eaves dropper, how did you even know his name?" I asked rolling my eyes

"He's one of my best friends." he replied with a chuckle before adding "You forgot I've gone here a lot longer than you."

"True true." I replied before starting to play music on my phone plugging it in

"We are not listening to girly music all night." Matt stated

"Oh yes we are." I replied getting under the covers snuggling with my pillow closing my eyes before mumbling "Can you get the lights?"

He groaned before getting up and flicking out the lights. I fell asleep to the sound of 3 miles accompanied by the tapping of keys by Matt.
