《 Aurora's pov 》

I jolted when the door is suddenly opened. It knocks on the opposite wall. Poor door had been through a lot since I've come here.

I placed the buttered biscuit back on the tray and looked at Alpha Xavier with widening eyes. His eyes were red and his canines were peeking out. My eyes fall to his hands. The nails. They were ready to tear through flesh.

His wolf had taken over. Or was about to.

The tray falls off my lap, the plates shattering as I crawled to the furthest corner of the bed. He came here to finally kill me. To get rid of me.

Alpha Xavier growls in warning, as if not pleased about my frightened state. He slams the door close, locking it. I shivered with fear.

Why did he come to kill me now? Had he found out about my secret? Did someone stumble on the flower and knew it was me?
