《Aurora's pov》

I pulled away from Cass completely to stare at the female vampire. I looked at her confused.

The way she spat out my name was as though we were well acquainted and that I had done her something extremely terrible.

I did not know the woman. And have never seen her before.

She was not at all familiar but she seem to give away that she knew my mother.

And by the nasty glare coming from her eyes to burn through me, I knew that she hadn't quite liked my mother as well.

"How do you know my mother?" I whispered in intrigue.

This was the first time someone have ever mentioned my mother. Because no one knew her. No one knew what she was.

But this woman, I can tell by the gleam in her eyes, she knew her. She knew me. And she knew what we were. Perhaps what we can do as well.

A smirk so cruel and disdainful appears on her lips. "You're a curious little thing aren't you? "

I wish Aurora wasn’t always the helpless damsel she has magic fairy dust why isn’t she using it to help her friend and herself. Don’t she have more powers than the fairy dust?

Why you have Aurora behaving like a damsel in distress always so fragile waiting from someone to recur her. Even when her friend life was in danger all she did was agree to go…no fight at all put up???? Disappointed much….for so long the book going with no character development for her…sad
