Chapter 37

Bella’s pov

I hadn't been feeling comfortable lately. I found myself easily getting tired and falling asleep. Perhaps it was because I had been spending a lot of time preparing for the annual ball. Anyway, today was the day of the ball, and after it was over, I could finally take a good rest.

As night fell, Haydn and I entered the banquet venue hand in hand. The guests were numerous, and after welcoming some people together, Haydn and I separated to greet our own guests.

"Bella, if you're tired, go rest in the room next to the banquet hall. Don't push yourself," Haydn told me before leaving.

"Alright, I understand."

I took a glass of wine and sipped it lightly.

"Your Highness, you looked truly beautiful tonight," said Grace. She was wearing a dark green dress today and had a somewhat unique ring on.

"Thank you. Grace, your dress tonight suited you well, and your ring is quite special." Grace's expression stiffened, and she instinctively tried to pull back her hand but restrained herse
